We are in-network with a variety of insurance plans, and we offer various forms of dental financing with credit available in time frames that fit your needs. We are happy to help you navigate your dental insurance and alternative payment options.
At Still Waters Family Dentistry, we are qualified to handle all aspects of your care, so you are always surrounded by people that you trust. If we must refer out, we promise to send you to carefully vetted colleagues who apply the same professional principles in their office that we do in ours.
We respect and understand that many patients experience dental anxiety. At our office, we do everything we can to make sure that your experience is as enjoyable as possible. By communicating clearly what you can expect during your treatment, we are often able to alleviate dental fear. We encourage you to bring headphones and music to listen to during your treatment and ask us about dental sedation options.

Dr. Clark Downey is a graduate of Canterbury High School in Fort Wayne. He received his undergraduate education from Purdue University and then went on to receive his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Downey was invited to Northwestern Universitys hospital dentistry residency in Chicago, where he focused on more advanced procedures, as well as, treating medically compromised patients.
Dr. Downey is a member of the Christian Medical Dental Association, Isaac Knapp District Society, Indiana Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Downey enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 children, running, and volunteering to help those in need. Dr. Downey has been to various developing nations to provide free dental care including countries throughout Africa multiple times, Guatemala, Guyana, and the Dominican Republic.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The whole staff was very friendly and helped while I was In deep pain. Dentist flawlessly removed my tooth and I didn't feel a single thing. Again thank you so much to the whole staff. It means so much to me that you made an other wise uncomfortable visit very soothing and no harder than going to a grocery store. Thank you!

My family has been receiving their dental care from this facility for many years. The staff has always been friendly. I remember several years ago, they went out of their way to get all of my kids appointments (including follow ups) during their spring break week, so not to disrupt our schedules. Dr Downey is very kind & open to the patient's voice in their care. I love the picture in the bathroom of Jesus directing the dentist. The Christian atmosphere is a beautiful witness of faith. I highly recommend Still Waters Family Dentistry! Thank you Dr Downey & Staff!

I would recommend Still Waters Family Dentistry because they take great care to help you feel comfortable and really listen when you have a concern. I have had anxiety going to the Dentist from early age and I really don't feel too overwhelmed when I visit here every six months. If you have questions give them a call. Your health is important.

I thought I'd never find a dentist as good as the one I had in Michigan. But I finally have. Painless, friendly, great work atmosphere and communication. Very satisfied. I've found my new dentist at last. I had to kiss a few toads to find this prince. There are a lot of bad dentists out there. I will be coming back to Still Waters and Dr. D again. Very happy old bird here.

Can't even describe the experience with them since was bumped by the front desk Cindy from the get-go. I don't even know if they would care, but this was rude of her to simply hang on me "with the smile". Please, Cindy, mind that it's 21st century out there and, if you think that hanging on people with the smile in your voice makes a difference or makes you a better person - shame on you.

While visiting the dentist may not be my favorite thing to do, it is always professional and easy with Stillwater Family Dentist. The staff is friendly, helpful and knows their teeth. Would recommend Stillwater to everyone.
