Dr. Giraldo was born in Cali, Columbia and received his DDS degree from the Universidad del Valle in 1991. After completing a one year General Practice Residency, Dr. Giraldo maintained a private practice devoting time to the indigenous population and farm workers. Dr. Giraldo continued on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, receiving his DMD degree. While attending Tufts he was awarded the Prosthetic Award for Clinical Excellence (crowns and bridges). During almost ten years spent in the USA, Dr. Giraldo has regularly taken different courses on CAD/CAM technology, Implant restorative techniques, and Advanced CEREC Design. These make him both a highly experienced and skillful professional, always committed to his patients oral health. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Taylor Van Houten was born and raised in New Jersey. In 2016 she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After graduation, she chose to attend Tufts University because they offered a dynamic curriculum that combined traditional thought and the newest technologies. While there, she served as the student representative for the Admissions Committee and Outcomes Assessment Committee. She was appointed as the liaison for the New England Center and Home for Veterans through the American Student Dental Association for three years. Taylor enjoyed volunteering to help the veterans in any way she could from serving them food to dental education.
After graduating from Tufts Magna Cum Laude in 2020, Taylor then completed the Harvard General Practice Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. During the program, she was able to work at several Harvard-affiliated institutions where she gained advanced experience in clinical and emergency dentistry. She quickly became knowledgeable working with medically compromised patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr. Van Houten enjoys getting to know her patients and being able to treat them with comprehensive, personalized care. Her goal is to create a comfortable environment that makes her patients feel at ease. She appreciates the field of cariology and strives to educate her patients to help prevent future dental disease.
Ashley achieved her dental assisting certificate through Nashoba Valley Technical High School and joined our team in July of 2015. As a registered dental assistant, Ashley supports the doctor with dental procedures, maintains inventory of office supplies, and helps her coworkers in any way that she can. In her time away from the office, Ashley enjoys painting and drawing, as well as hiking, traveling and cooking with her husband.
Gina received her associates degree in dental hygiene from New Hampshire Technical Institute and joined our dental family in July of 2019. When shes not sitting chairside with her patients, you can find her enjoying the great outdoors. She likes to bike, camp, hike, read and spend time with her family. She hopes to expand her dental knowledge through continuing education courses, and help her patients achieve optimal oral health.
After obtaining her bachelors degree from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Laura joined us in August of 2019. As a dental hygienist, she is passionate about motivating her patients to improve their oral health, and hopes to grow within the dental field through continuing education courses. Laura loves traveling, spending time with family, reading and staying active.
Maura obtained her certificate for dental assisting from Northern Essex Community College, and became part of our team in September of 2018. Maura not only assists our doctors during dental procedures, but she also helps with front office duties as a patient coordinator. Her time away from the office is often spent with her husband and her son, enjoying outdoor activities, no matter what the season.

I have never had a" Bad Experience " at Stiles. I have been going there for a couple of years now. I think the Staff is extremely professional and always goes the extra yard to insure your satisfaction. I am very happy to recommend Stiles Family Dentistry to any of my friends and neighbors.

I had gone home to Iran last year to have implants put in, and recently had an issue with one of them coming loose. I inquired by phone with some dentists, but they were hesitant to do the work. I called up Dr. Giraldo, because I had seen him some years ago, and we hit it off. Dr. Giraldo enthusiastically took on the task. He solved my problem, and said he would be ready and willing if any further work needed to be done!

Clean, cordial and professional are just a few words that come to mind when describing Stiles Family dentistry. My hygienist, Rachel was amazing and when I was done with my cleaning, I truly felt like she took her time with me and provided me with a warm, caring and welcoming environment. I went here today for a cleaning. I had to bring my two month old baby with me, because I didn't have a sitter. They were very accommodating! They let me stop the cleaning to soothe her. And at one point someone came over and just rocked her in her car seat and spoke to her until I was done. It was so nice to not feel like an inconvenience for bringing her in. I really appreciated their flexibility and kindness!

I absolutely love this place! A visit here is like visiting an old friend! Everyone is so friendly and outgoing, and most important, caring. I love the front desk girls who are amazing, and equally adore Dr. Van Houten, who is always so welcoming, caring, and kind as well as being wonderful at what she does. :) I could not recommend this place more highly!! I feel fortunate to have found these wonderful people!!!

I was regular patient since 2018 when I used to live in Salem. I gave 5 stars every-time because their service was great specially Doctor Giraldo is amazing. Other team also is friendly. I moved to Bedford but still came here driving one hour. But last time either they cheated or were careless in asking about my dental plans. Usually they ask insurance for the coverage and copay but they did not ask before they filled my teeth . They should have asked the insurance about the waiting period , inform the decision to me how much I need to pay and perform the service or wait,. But they just did teeth filling then called later and said I had to pay . They gave me 20% discount but was forced to pay the significant amount for me. I won't go back there now. My husband was willing to come back but won't because of the insurance and tackling them correctly..
