Dr. Vonda Hester strives to educate, inform and perform the kind of dentistry that will restore her patients oral health for optimal function and a beautiful aesthetic. For Dr. Hester, providing a high level of patient care and service is why she comes to work each day everything else is secondary to that. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Georgia Athens and went on to graduate from Georgia Regents University (formerly known as Medical College of Georgia Augusta) in 1992. Dr. Hester continues her education a minimum of four times a year, and she has also received advanced training at Dr. Andrew Kellys implant seminar.
A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Georgia Dental Society and Hinman Dental Society, Dr. Hester has been serving our community for 21 years. She also works as a volunteer dentist for the Ben Massell Dental Clinic and Ray of Hope Clinic. Dr. Hester enjoys working alongside her husband, Dr. Ron Stewart, and is supported by her family. She also likes playing the piano, gardening, watching sports events and baking.

I did not use my dental insurance for years because I had previous bad experiences and grew to dislike going to the dentist. I came to this practice several years ago on the recommendation of a co-worker. I have not had an uncomfortable or distressing cleaning from any hygienist. The front desk staff is pleasant and professional and I get plenty of reminders about my appointments. I enjoy working with Dr. Hester. I never feel judged if I am not the best with flossing in between cleanings. The recommendations are educational and not shameful. I highly recommend!

As long as I need my teeth cared for I will forever go to Panola Family Dental. Dr. Stewart is so attentive, concerned, and will always make sure your are comfortable when being serviced. His extensive knowledge and tactfulness is hard to come by these days, so whatever he recommends I always follow. Today was just for a cavity filling, but his has performed a crown, preventive periodontal deep cleaning, and basic cleaning. The best in town and all the workers are polite, friendly, and you will always be treated more than just like a patient!!

My experience with Dr. Vonda Hester was exceptional. She is a teacher. She explained my treatment plan in full detail. She was pleasant, polite, professional, and genuine. My crowns are beautiful and fit for a queen . As both of us are! The complete staff was great in taking care of my needs. THANKS!

All I can say is WOW! I have NEVER had a more thorough exam. Not only was the exam thorough but Dr. Hester explicitly explained everything and made sure I understood. Her demeanor, professionalism and great bedside manner is beyond reproach. I like the efficiency from the staff and my dental hygienist was excellent. Just be aware of services being suggested or rendered that are not covered by your insurance. My rule of thumb is that if my insurance doesn't cover it, it's likely not needed. Doesn't mean you shouldn't consider it but it's likely more a luxury than a need. Still have concern with how billing is handled but so far they've corrected any issues.

Been having problems with my teeth for a while and they keep delaying the dates to see them also they keep sending me other places to get my Teeth fixed and there suppost to be a dentist I do not recommend to no one
