Dr. Steven Nodtvedt is a 1984 graduate of the University of Washington Dental School. He earned his undergraduate degree in Zoology at Washington State University. Dr. Nodtvedt is a member of the American Dental Association,the Seattle-King County Dental Society and is a member of the American Society of Implant & Reconstructive Dentistry (ASIRD).
We are an established family dental practice andare conveniently located on the West Hill of Kent. Dr. Nodtvedt and his staff have a goal to provide passionate service withhigh qualitydental care in a relaxed atmosphere. We personalize your dental experience to fit your individual way of life.

I am a big chicken when it comes to dentists! Dr Nodvedt and his staff are highly skilled, friendly and take the fear out of going to the dentist!

5 stars for Dr. Nodvendt, 1 star for everyone else (Hygienist and receptionist) the receptionist was to busy shaming a lady over Covid to get me checked in and getting my insurance info. The hygienist was no different, I was floss shamed by my hygienist as she cleaned my teeth. She also took one last pot shot before I left as she handed me my goodie bag "there is also dental floss in the bag". Then my final surprise- a bill for $70 for what was not covered by my insurance. My family goes to a different dentist because of previous hygienist and office staff experiences at this place. They have never had any out of pocket expenses. Not here, $70 for what? I am done with this place. The Dr. Is great, the others not so great.

One of the best dentist I've been to. Very accommodating for my schedule. Very communicative during the procedure to explain everything being done. Would recommend to anyone!

We have been coming as a family for 20+ years. Dr. Steve has always been kind, thorough, and gives you options of what can be done instead of pushing you to the most expensive option. His staff is great at cleaning and finding any issues with teeth or gums. I highly recommend his office!

Dr Nodtvedt is by far the best dentist I've been to. He maked me feel comfortable right from the start. Always sharing what needs to be fixed and different options on how to reach my goal of having a healthy mouth and a plan that I could afford. His staff is very friendly and always happy to see me. I could go on and on but I won't. I'm just so happy that he's been my dentist.

I've been going to Dr. Nodtvedt since the early 90's. My wife who is extremely afraid of the dentist is comfortable with him and his staff. We no longer live in the Federal Way area but make the drive from Puyallup for our cleanings and check ups. I highly recommend Steven Nodtvedt and his staff if you are looking for a dentist
