Dr. Talerman completed his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University and earned his dental degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his post-graduate residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York City.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Nassau County Dental Society, and is a pre-fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
