Dr. Strickland graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond with a degree in Biology before moving on to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He has been serving in private practice since 1990, and has been repeatedly recognized by his peers as one of the best dentists in the DC area.
He is a member of: American Dental Association Academy of General Dentistry Virginia Dental Association Northern Virginia Dental Society Past President of Virginia Academy of General Dentistry (2020-2021)
Dr. Strickland wanted to be a dentist his entire life. He enjoys working with his hands to create exceptional results, and he loves to make people happy. Patient satisfaction is always the goal, and he proudly leads his team in practicing quality dentistry to achieve it. Dr. Strickland also routinely augments his expertise with continuing education courses covering all aspects of dentistry, with a focus on Dental Implants and Cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Strickland has delivered great care for my family for over 20 years. As a result, our kids, all now grown, have had very few dental issues. His hygienists are the best! When my spouse and I needed implants, he and his team did a fantastic job. Unparalleled expertise. Impeccable ethics. For all our dental care, we will go nowhere else.

I have been a patient of Dr. Strickland's for over 30 years and have nothing but high praise for him. I recently had a crown replaced and a veneer done. I could not be happier! He did a fantastic job ensuring the new dental work was impeccable, matched my natural teeth and they look so natural, but even better. Best of all, I never experienced a twinge of pain throughout any of the procedures. If you want the best dental work available, your best choice is Dr. Strickland. His entire staff is also as professional as he is.

I have an unnatural terrifying fear of invasive dental work. So much so I will go years without an exam because I worry I will need major work done, which I usually do. Dr Strickland and his wonderful staff did everything in their power to make me feel relaxed and at ease. I just had an implant done and I have to say it was the most pleasant, relaxed, pain free dental procedure I've ever had!!! Dr Strickland called me personally a few hours after to make sure I was doing well. If you are like me and avoid dentists for this reason...Dr Strickland is your man!! I will never see another Dentist.

Dr. Strickland is amazing. He ensures the patient is well educated about all their dental care options. It's obvious that patient health is his #1 priority. He spends ample time with his patients, answering questions, even about holistic/alternative therapies. My best experience is that he was able to confirm that my previous dentist completely misdiagnosed me, and I no longer needed an invasive procedure that was recommended before!

I've been a patient of Dr. Strickland's for many years and am the beneficiary of his expertise. In addition to routine dental care (cleanings, x-rays, etc.), I've had extensive dental reconstruction, including fillings, crowns and a dental implant. Dr. Strickland is committed to my oral health and also does beautiful cosmetic dentistry. If you're looking for a dentist to correct a less-than-perfect smile, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Strickland! As always my appointment was stress free! Anna is gentle and thorough in cleaning, and is always so pleasant. If a person had anxieties, she would put you at ease right away. Dr. Strickland is also pleasant; he is professional and discusses any concerns and offers advice as needed. The entire staff is professional and there is a warm, welcoming feeling in the office.

If you are seeking a dentist, look no farther than Dr. Strickland. He and his staff have provided excellent customer service and pain free treatment for over 15 years. During that time, I have received many compliments on my smile. I also tried other local dentists to stay within my dental network but returned to Dr. Strickland because they did not provide treatment even close to his compassionate, state-of-the-art care. His staff member, Lovely, assisted him during my last visit, and she was outstanding.
