Steven P. Walker, DDS Dr. Steven Walker graduated as Valedictorian from Chesterton Senior High School and pursued a degree in biology and pre-dentistry at Purdue University before attending dental school at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction in 1981. He has received advanced training in TMJ Treatment and Implant Restoration, and he continues to improve his knowledge and skills through regular Dental, Business, Ethics, CPR, and Pharmacology courses. Dr. Walker belongs to a number of professional organizations, including:
Dr. Walker married his high-school sweetheart, Carol, with whom he has four children and two dogs. He has been a practicing dentist in his hometown of Chesterton, Indiana, for 35 years. In his spare time, Dr. Walker enjoys music, gardening, forestry, hiking, hunting, camping, fishing, and canoeing, and has received the 50 Miler Boy Scout troop canoeing award.

The best dentist ever! The office staff is amazing. They all go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Everything is explained so no surprises. After being petrified by a previous dentist, I can honestly say that I am no longer afraid of the dentist. You are made to feel like family. Once you go here, you will never go anywhere else.
