Dr. Steven Smith is a native of Iowa to a resident of Central Florida since 1974 and has had this practice in Deltona for 20 years. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Valdosta State, Dr. Smith earned his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Dental Association and continues his education often in order to offer his patients the best that dentistry has to offer.
Sarah has been helping patients at our office feel welcome since 2000. Her aim has always been to give our patients a comfortable, exceptional experience at our office. She enjoys working here because the staff and patients feel like an extension of her own family.
Mary graduated from Daytona State College in 1998, where she was awarded the Community Service Award by Proctor and Gamble. She has worked with Dr. Smith since 2003 and loves having the opportunity to make patients feel comfortable in the office. She also enjoys having a second family in the staff.
Since 1999, Ann has been a valuable asset to our team, helping to create a friendly and caring environment. As a certified dental assistant, Ann frequently provides high-quality care and comfort to patients when she assists Dr. Smith. Patients love seeing Anns familiar face whenever they visit our office.

Be very careful visiting an old school dentist like this with outdated if you feel your dental needs are serious. I went here for months and was led to believe I was in perfect dental health and was given the run around after feeling pain after filling etc. They told me I did have minor gingivitis in my front teeth and some minor gingivitis in the back. 6 months later I declined my semi annual cleaning and decided to visit a different dentist just following my gut. Here I found I had gingivitis all over my mouth I was not even aware of and that I had periodontal disease, which is the step after gingivitis in 3 areas. These are things that should have been clearly seen as they do the same tests for them. I cannot imagine why they would do this to me other than some kind of financial gain for later on. If they would of been honest, I could of prevented periodontal disease, this cannot be reversed. I am hoping something will come of the malpractice suit I am attempting, and if so ill update so everyone can steer clear with proof of more than just my words. One of his Fillings also turned into a root canal and crown, he claimed it was deep, but in my few visits there, I heard him in other rooms giving the same speal about deep cavities now needing a root canal, which is part of why I decided to see a different dentist.

I will start by saying..... it is so refreshing to find an honest and caring Dentist office! I love the service at Dr Smith office. They are professional but also very friendly! I never have to wait around, they do not over book patients. Always up front with pricing and procedures. I highly recommend!!!!!! My favorite is Ms. Mary.

Dr. Smith has been my dentist for about 20 years. I've been very happy with every aspect of his practice. They always find a way to see me when I have an emergency. The hygenist, Mary. is very gentle and does a great job. The staff, Sarah, Cindy and Marge, can make insurance companies cry. (I love that!) Ann, who makes and fits the crown molds and crowns, has a great eye for color matching, and gives me a perfect fit every time. And something you migh not have considered is that when Dr. Smith has to refer you to a specialist, they are absolutely first rate, too. I highly recommend Dr. Smith.

My husband had a dental appointment today and he is recovering from a major health event. He has to use a walker but the office staff were so very helpful and considerate. They helped make the visit go much easier for both of us with their assistance. It great to have such caring health professionals.

Filling broke, went in to get it fixed, got home and something wasn't right. Went back and was told the tooth next to it broke. My first thought was, doc didn't realize this, secondly I didn't break it but I sucked it up and paid to get it fixed. Got home, something wasn't right, went back and they said the tooth next to the one that was just filled was broke. My first thought was, doc didn't realize this, secondly I didn't break it...must think I'm their personal walking, talking ATM machine my (_!_) "Fool me one time shame on you Fool me twice, can't put the blame on you Fool me three times, *uck the peace signs Load the chopper, let it rain on you..."
