I love Dr. Berk and everyone within his practice. From the front desk to the dental technicians, everyone is so friendly. The appointments are also timely and efficient. Dr. Berk is very accommodating, especially with my mild dentist anxiety and jaw problems. He always makes sure I'm comfortable when undergoing any procedures. Additionally, we brought my daughter for a visit when she was 3 and Dr. Berk's team was great with her. We weren't sure but to expect but she did really well thanks to everyone making her comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Berk and his staff!

I hadn't been to a dentist for a couple of years because my two previous dentists moved away and then COVID arrived giving me an excuse to avoid looking for a new dentist. When I got a toothache that wouldn't go away, I knew it was time to find a new dental practice. I searched the local Nextdoor app and found multiple recommendations for Dr. Steven Berk in Annandale. I called Dr. Berk's office, and the phone was answered quickly by a pleasant and knowledgeable staff member. I was given the next available appointment a few days away. I filled out all necessary paperwork online before the appointment. I arrived a bit early for my appointment and was called back at the scheduled time. X-rays were taken of all my teeth, and the tech seemed genuinely concerned about making the process as painless as possible. Dr. Berk reviewed the x-rays, examined my mouth and quickly knew the cause of my problem. A decaying wisdom tooth needed to be removed. Though Dr. Berk does do tooth extractions, because I am taking alendronate for osteoporosis, the tooth has a curved root and I've had significant bleeding with previous extractions he recommended that I see an oral surgeon. While I was getting my exam, I was offered an appointment for teeth cleaning the same afternoon, which I accepted. There was a bit of delay getting called back for the cleaning appointment, but the hygienist was friendly and knowledgeable and did not give me a hard time about avoiding dentists for 2+ years. She offered many suggestions for improving my oral hygiene and gave me a goodie bag with samples of many of the recommended products. Checkout went smoothly and I was given an appointment for my next cleaning in four months. Everyone I dealt with in Dr. Berk's office was friendly and genuinely seemed concerned about my well-being. While I wish Dr. Berk could have resolved my tooth problem during my visit, I appreciate that he considers all issues before making a recommendation. I'm so pleased with my interactions with Dr. Berk's office that I'm encouraging my husband to become a patient.

Dr. Berk is an amazing doctor. He used 2 hours did what my Florida dentist couldn't do in 4 months. He repaired the base, made the crown all digitally and did the fitting all in 2 hours. No pain and no suffering like what I have experienced with my Florida dentist for 4 months. His office is very clean with all advanced equipment. His office manager is very efficient and helpful. The cost is very reasonable. His staff are all very professional and friendly. Dr. Berk is also very helpful using emails, respond to patient emails very promptly if you have a dental problem. Strongly recommend Dr. Berk to everyone.

When I was younger, I had root canals, cavities, cleanings, and generally bad teeth. I hated dentists. I didn't have insurance until turning 26 and then I went to this practice. I absolutely, without a doubt, actually enjoy going to the dentist. They're wonderful people that care about how you're doing. If you need a dentist, go. Go to this doctor!

I highly recommend Dr Berk. I have been seeing Dr. Berk for years since he took over the practice from Dr. Viscomi. During the pandemic I made the mistake of going to a dentist closer to my home out of convenience. I quickly learned not every dentist is the same! It is well worth the drive to go to a dentist that you trust. He and his staff are professional, kind and personable and highly competent. In today's world, it seems like you can't go to the dentist without getting a hard up-sell! It's comforting to go to a dentist who you don't need to question when they tell you that you need work done. Dr. Berk is that dentist!
