Dr. Steven Fuquareceived his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1995, and then went on to complete a three year prosthodontic residency program, graduating in 1998 with a Masters of Science (MS).
Dr. Steven Fuqua is a proud former student of Texas A&M University (TAMU) and is currently serving on the Board of Biomedical Sciences at TAMU. In addition to being a sought after lecturer in the field of advanced prosthodontic techniques, Dr. Steven Fuqua is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, International Academy of Gnathology, and Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Tonya Fuquaalso received a DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and continues to hone her skills through postgraduate study. She holds professional membership in the American College of Dentists, Childrens Oral Health Coalition of Tarrant County, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Fort Worth District Dental Society. She is a former member of the U.S. Air Force, where she served as an active duty dental officer at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio.
In addition to passion for serving her patients, Dr. Tonya Fuqua dedicates a great deal of her time to serving the community. Her most significant accomplishment may be the founding and managing of Save a Smile, a non-profit dental program that serves low income children in our community. Led by Cook Childrens Medical Center, Save a Smile provides thousands of dollars of need-based services each year for children who might otherwise go without dental care. Dr. Fuqua works to enlists volunteer dentists and coordinates with Communities In Schools to deliver a truly unparalleled dental outreach program that has so far touched the lives of over 36 thousand young people throughout Tarrant County.
Cherie's cheerful voice greets every caller to Fuqua Advanced Dental. Her career in dentistry began in 1970 and she still enjoys helping to provide a great dental experience for each patient who comes into the office. Cherie is a native Texan, was married to her high school sweetheart until his passing 2016, and has one married daughter and two dogs. She loves to spending time with family and friends. Cherie joined Fuqua Advanced Dental in 2002.
Sandra earned her degree in dental hygiene in 2007 from Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont. Born in Los Angeles, she moved to Texas at a young age and grew up in the HEB area. Sandra is married with two young daughters. When shes not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Hobbies include playing softball, watching and attending sporting events, and working out.She is also an assistance coach for one of her daughters softball teams in the Tri-cities league (Go Gators!). Sandra is thrilled to be part of the Fuqua Advanced Dental team and strives to give each patient the healthy smile they deserve.
Robin has worked in dentistry since 1997. She completed a dental assistant program through the Naval & American Red Cross, and is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). A California native, Robin has been happily married to a retired member of the United States Marine Corp for 36 years. They have two sons and one daughter, and their first grandchild on the way. She has worked for Fuqua Advanced Dental since 2005.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Fuqua. Went to him for a second opinion about a dental implant extraction performed by another Dr. Was so impressed I decided to let him do the work and additional implants. I can't be happier! The front office and assistants are a great asset to his team. Great job! Smiling from ear to ear.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Fuqua. I am a retired dental hygienist and was once also a loyal supporter of Dr. Fuqua. However, .he has done some less than commendable work in my mouth that cost me, just from him almost$20,000. I am talking about implants, crowns, sinus lifts etc. one implant failed and had to be pulled out, and the sinus lift he did to accommodate the implant broke into my sinus and caused a severe infection, and I had bone particles coming into my throat from the sinus. The second implant was holding firm but most of the implant was exposed! Then I had my front 4 teeth recrowned. The crowns were a bad fit from the beginning, but he got them in there. Long story short, all of his work has failed and I have had to spend another $30,000 to fix it! I requested a refund from some of the monies I paid him, but he would only agree to give me that if I signed a paper saying that I would not post any negative reviews! Well, I refused to sign the paper, and when my husband Went to talk to The good doctor, he was rude and walked out of the room. On the 4th, while trying to celebrate the holiday, I was sitting in a restaurant and the crowns that he put on my front teeth just FELL OUT!!!!! It has been a very painful and expensive experience and I can only warn you..if you have to do some extensive reconstruction in your mouth, this IS NOT THE PLACE TO DO IT!!!! I too felt those warm and cozy feelings about Fuqua, but when things went bad, he is totally different. BEWARE

Dr Fuqa is bar none the best, most understand, dentist, oral surgeon in probably America to be honest, I'm 31 years old and he has been working with me and my whole family for the last 17 years. I would recommend him to anyone for ANYTYPE OF DENTAL WORK. If I could give you 10 stars I would

There are not works to express my gratitude to both Dr. Fuqua's and their amazing staff. I have been going to them for almost 20 years and I have never been dissatisfied with any of my services. My recent procedure has me smiling non stop for the first time in my life! I feel so blessed to have found them. I now look forward to going to the dentist. They say smiling at someone can change can their day, if that is the case I have been busy because I love my new smile! !

My experience with Dr. Fuqua and his office staff was stellar. I had many restorations, titanium implants and veneers to restore my bite. It took a couple years from start to finish, but I am now so happy with my bite and my smile. It was well worth the money and time. Dr. Fuqua is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. I recommend him 100%

Both Drs Fuqua are exceptional dentists, and I know firsthand because I am a patient of each. My husband, Scott, and his 97 year old father, Joe, also rave about these two dentists. Our praise for them does not stop with their professional qualifications, as we know the Fuquas to be some of the nicest people we have ever met. Their two precious daughters and friendly/fun staff are the icing on the cake for me...makes me love these two even more!
