Incompetent office staff, failure to call in prescriptions, ignorant on insurance and coverage, poorly trained, all around bad experience.

We were referred from another dental office to this one for some specialty care. We drove to this location, walked through the doors and informed the receptionist that we were just referred from another dental office up the street to be seen by Dr. Reck. I was asked what insurance I had, I told them that it was covered under military and I paid about 150 bucks a month for the family plan. I asked if they took United Concordia, they said yes, but they were not sure that this was my insurance and if they accepted 'my' medical. Customer service really needs improvement at this location. I saw an eye roll from the second lady sitting at the counter when I told them to get the insurance information from the Dentist that referred us to them. I even provided the number to them for the dentist that referred us. We left feeling like we didn't deserve to walk through their doors in the first place or that we were lying about our dental coverage. I called United Concordia and the representative told me that the receptionist could of easily asked for my SSN and gone to their website to verify active family plan coverage. I have since requested dental insurance cards that are in the mail. It was irritating to be treated like I was lying or that I somehow carried substandard insurance. We have since self-referred to another dental location for care as we have the option to since we are on the higher Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan and can use any dentist, inside or outside the network. Their loss.

Dr. Reck did a great job extracting my molar. No pain, great job!

Just had a tooth extraction a week ago, totally painless. I was amazed how professional staff is, safety protocols in place for covid. Not too many people say they have fun at a dentist... I did... highly recommend

Rocky Mountain Dental referred me to Dr. Reck. The front office staff was pleasant and helpful. Ashley, the surgical assistant, was knowledgeable and direct which helped put me at ease. Dr. Reck had a good bedside manner and kept me informed throughout the procedure. I felt I was in good hands with this team.

I was referred to Dr. Reck from my orthodontist for my wisdom teeth. Him and his staff did am amazing job of preparing me for the procedure and making me feel comfortable on the day of. Dr. Reck also did my bone grafts and was very honest about how the procedure worked. His office worked with my family's insurance as well. Overall I would highly recommend Dr. Reck for anyone needing oral surgery.

All around awesome! Office staff, Dental Assistants and Dr Reck is Amazing. Had my daughters wisdom teeth removed and everyone was friendly, procedure was flawless. My daughter was freaked out about getting her first IV, Dr. Reck had the IV in while talking to her and walked away, as if he had to check the equipment and she didn't even know the IV was in. He was great, daughter did well, for all the stress and build up, they have made the experience fun and we will have this great family memory. Thanks to everyone at Dr. Reck's!

This man pulled both my bad teeth as painlessly as he could and the pain afterwards is barible. Honestly if there were more stars I'd give him 10 stars. He and his staff are great, and have great chair side manners. Any questions you have they will answer.

I was very upset with this Dental Office. I called them the beginning of December to make an appointment for wisdom teeth removal. My wisdom teeth have broken skin and are very painful. I've explained this multiple times so you think the staff would've tried to help me out more with getting me in and helping my needs. They couldn't get me in until January 3, which I understand they are busy. I then asked for a quote from them as I'm a college student making minimum wage, so I would like to know how much money to set aside. They said they would call me back and didn't. I called them again later in December asking for a quote still which they then said they actually wouldn't be able to give me one before my appointment because the first week of January the office lady would be doing everyone's insurance. I then said okay I would like to reschedule then so I can have time to set aside money and get a quote. I changed my appointment to January 16th and they advised me they would have the quote ready after the first week of January. I called again after I didn't get a call on the 2nd week of January and they told me the quote wouldn't be ready till Thursday, Friday at the latest and they would call me then. I still didn't get a call. Three days before my appointment I got a call reminding me of my appointment which I then asked them for my quote. They finally gave me my quote of the wisdom teeth removal and said they didn't know how much it would be to evaluate a bump on my tongue because they don't know which codes the Dr. would use. I was very upset by that point as I didn't have the right amount set aside because I didn't know how much it would be. I said I wanted to reschedule and I was told they wouldn't be able to get me in until March. The staff needs to be more on top of customer service providence. I found that ridiculous I was told multiple times they would call and didn't, as well as they couldn't even give me a full quote. I work at a Dr. office myself and when a customer asks for a quote and we say we will call them back we ALWAYS do. Customers don't have to call us 5 times to finally get a quote. I will be taking my money else where for the procedures I need done and hope they work on their customer service skills.

I was referred to this place by PCHC. I was told they accepted Medicaid. I had my consultation which was fine. But then the receptionist are calling me telling me my insurance is inactive. Which is strange since I had a dental appointment two weeks prior to that. So I called Family Services and they told me I had coverage. Called this place back and they said nope it's still inactive. So I called the actual Medicaid people because Dr Recks reception said they spoke to someone at Medicaid who said I was inactive. But when I called Medicaid they informed me that I was active and they had no idea why Dr Recks office kept saying that. So Medicaid called them and told them I was active. Come to find out, they didn't even know how to check if I was eligible. Medicaid walked them through and said that I will receive a call back with my appointment. Guess what? They never called me back. So of course I had to call and these ladies were still trying to tell me I was inactive and that they spoke to Medicaid lmao which was obviously a lie. Plain and simple. If y'all didn't want to accept my insurance, you should have said no instead of wasting 2 weeks of my time. I called PCHC and they said my Medicaid was active and they didn't understand why you guys turned me away and had to apologize for you. So Family Services, Medicaid, Parkview, and PCHC must all have faulty systems since they all said I was active!!! I would not recommend this place unless you have a private insurance. Money talks right? Thanks for nothing!
