Dr. Steven Hinchey grew up in Glastonbury, attended East Catholic High School and graduated from Fairfield University. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut Of Dental Medicine and practiced in Hartford before moving to Glastonbury in 1981. He maintains continuing education and has been certified in implant placement, laser technology and cad/cam prosthetics
A member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Hinchey attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest technologies and treatment techniques. His areas of interest include dental implant placement, cad-cam dental design, and oral ecology.
When not caring for his wonderful patients, Dr. Hinchey officiates lacrosse and trains high school, college and international mens lacrosse officials. He helped to start the Glastonbury Lacrosse Club and served as their first coach. In 2016, he was inducted into the Connecticut Chapter of US Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
Della has been a member of our practice since January 2018. She graduated from University of Connecticut with a Biological Sciences Bachelors degree. She received her dental hygiene license from Briarwood College.
She has been working as a dental hygienist ever since. Della is very passionate about her career. Her top priority as a hygienist is to provide each patients with the care, education, and the support they need in order to reach optimal oral health. It is her personal goal to provide an atmosphere of comfort, care and trust for everyone she treats. When she is not in her active role of being a healthcare provider, Della enjoys traveling and making memories with her family.
