Hello! I am Dr. Daniel Domsch, but please call me Dr. Dan. I grew up in Shawnee, KS and attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. I graduated from Kansas State University, earning a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in business management. Following graduation, I attended UMKC School of Dentistry where I graduated in 2016. I am an avid sports fan and enjoy rooting for all of the hometown Kansas City teams, as well as the KSU Wildcats. Having played competitive baseball growing up, I still participate in a mens league. I also enjoy snow skiing, going to movies, and playing trivia, but mostly I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My interest in dentistry stems from my own dental problems I had as a child. I developed a great appreciation for the difference a good dentist can make in a persons life. I am excited to be a part of the Pendleton team, providing quality dental care in the comfortable environment Dr. Steve and his staff have created.
Welcome, I am Dr. Steven D. Pendleton. Most patients refer to me as Dr. Steve. I grew up in the Argentine district of Kansas City, Kansas, where I graduated from J.C. Harmon High school. I received my Associates degree in Biology from Kansas City, Kansas Community College. Always being interested in the medical fields I decided to continue my education in science and attended UMKC where I received my bachelors degree in Biology. With my education well under way I decided to pursue a career in dentistry. I graduated from UMKC Dental School in 1998 with my Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery. Here is a little bit of information about me. I am a pretty laid back guy and enjoy having fun at work. I enjoy treating all patients but especially love my kids! I call them my kids because I have seen so many grow up through the years and it is such a treat being able to have a part in their lives. Plus, I am definitely a kid at heart, just ask my wife! I take pride in giving back to the community. Throughout dental school I was involved in many community activities. I have gone on several outreach trips to Venezuela, where they provide Dental care to children in orphanages. I do presentations at schools in the community to teach proper oral hygiene. I have also been involved in many programs that offer free dental screenings throughout the area. I am currently a member of the American Dental Association and Kansas Dental Association. I always bring my energy to the office and try to enjoy myself. I hope that you enjoy your time with us as well. I have many exceptional Doctors working with me, check out their bios, as well as a great staff. I am so proud to have such great people working with me and hope to continue practicing in the field of dentistry in this community for many years to come, thanks to all of you!

We recently switched from the dentist we have gone to for 15+ years as we felt that the old practice was pushing unnecessary procedures and had poor customer service. Dr. Pendleton came highly recommended by several friends so we switched. From the beginning I knew we made the right choice. We were taken back quickly, all the procedures were done with care and efficiency, and everyone seemed to really care about us. Daniel was my hygienist and was gentle and quick. There was very little wait on Dr. Pendleton and he explained things so we could understand. My 11 year old was very anxious to go and he felt comfortable from the start because they explained why they were doing things and how they were doing them. Everyone was so friendly and the office was spotless. I am so glad we made the change.

I absolutely love the dental hygienist and the doctors at this location, but I had a terrible experience with Dana (one of the receptionist). She was very rude and tried to bill my insurance for a different type of service that I made an appointment for. Its hard to find a good dentist, but the way I was treated I may be looking elsewhere for me and my family.

My kids have gone here for years and always loved this office. But when I started being a patient I really learned to appreciate it. Dr. P went the extra mile to calm my Dental anxiety and saved a tooth I thought was a goner.

Left messages that I am new to the area and need dental work. They don't answer their phones, ever, and no return calls. Nothing. Just a big ol customer service dry socket.

After over 5 years of being a patient at this office I have decided to leave. Yesterday I went in for a cleaning and I had questions about the direction of my care because I was told one thing and since it was not written down in my chart I did not have proof. I had great care by the dentist and hygienist over the years and although they did in my opinion a great job I am still treated like I was 5 years ago. Is not the reason for treatment to get better? I have braces now because my teeth and gums are now healthy but this is not being acknowledged in this office. I was told by 3 people yesterday that a condition I had started treatment for 5 years ago will always be an issue when it really is not anymore. I was never offered to discuss this issue with an actual doctor however. They just let me leave and did not seem to care that I was leaving. No resolution of the issue was offered to me. This is disheartening to say the least I do not feel like a valued patient at all.

We have been patients of Dr. Pendleton for years. His staff is so professional and caring. Dr. Pendleton has excellent bed side manner and cares for every single one of his patients! They are excellent with kids...my kids actually look forward seeing Dr. Steve! I highly recommend this practice

Hands down the best dentist in Kansas City! There are no words to describe how fantastic Dr. Steve and his staff are! They are always so welcoming and personable! My 4 year old was terrified to go to the dentist but now loves going because the staff and Doctors are so great! Not only are they great with kids but adults also! My elderly grandparents were not keen on going to the dentist, until they went to Steve! They love Steve and his staff just as much as myself and daughter do!! Would highly recommend!

What dentist isn't open on Fridays? And then only open on "some" Saturdays and no sundays.... What the hell are you supposed to do during a dental emergency? What good is a dentist if they are only open 4 days a week? Very irriated that we can't be seen in a timely manner. And there always seems to be billing problems. Have to love when your quoted amount is wrong due to someone not checking their work before handing out said quote.
