Dr. Steve has been in practice for 33 years. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1982 and went on to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, graduating in 1986. Dr. Steve opened our general dentistry practice in 1987 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He especially appreciates the fine motor function involved in the practice of dentistry as it relates to his passion for restoring collector cars. When Dr. Steve is not practicing dentistry or working on his cars, he can be found on the golf course or cheering on theOklahoma Sooners!

Been going to Dr. Berklacy for years. Had several instances where either he or his staff were rude to me. I ALWAYS had to wait at least 30 minutes past my appointment time for a cleaning! Then had to wait 30 minutes to an hour for the dentist to come and check my teeth after. This last time when I was treated incredibly rude because I said I was going to have to leave I couldn't wait any longer.... was the last! There are way too many other dentist out there to be treated like you are interrupting their day.

My kids and I have been going to Dr. Berklacy a few years now and I keep waiting for the service to improve. I like him as a dentist but the hygienists and office staff leave something to be desired. Again, I waited one hour beyond my appointment time for a cleaning that was sub par. They appear to be understaffed and possibly over-worked... happy employees would have eased my frustration and I would have left feeling ok about my unusually long wait time, but this staff encouraged me to leave frustrated and angry without the dentist looking at my teeth (I went pee and they suggested I looked ready to go, because I had my purse, so I left instead of telling them how I really felt). They have turned what is usually my favorite day (I love getting my teeth cleaned) into a day where I dread the wait and know if I am on-time I will still wait a ridiculous amount of time and God-Forbid I am early!! For the retired folks, this may not be the straw that breaks the camel's back, but for me, it is time to go elsewhere. So, goodbye and goodluck.

Today was my first time seeing Dr Burklacy. He is exactly the dentist I've been hoping to find. He was really kind. I have several issues with my teeth and I feel confident in his choices of what to treat and what is better to leave alone for the time being. Some dentists try to sell as much dental work as they can whether it's in your best interest or not. But not Dr Burkacy. I immediately felt like he was trustworthy.

The receptionist was rude and got an attitude with me over the phone before I could even schedule an appointment. They were asking me to call my insurance and make them a primary care dentist before they would even schedule an appointment. I told her that sounded like putting the cart before the horse and that's when she snapped and took this nasty tone with me and was condescending.. My last dentist allowed me to do that in office the first time in case my insurance had questions. I sure miss them. If you ever move near Ft Worth, TX, check out Great Expressions dental. They are the best!

Great practice! When I first moved to the Tulsa area I went to Gallery of Smiles. They said I had 12 cavities and after insurance it would be $1400. I thought that was a bit strange because I haven't had a cavity since I was a kid. I wanted to see if I could find a cheaper alternative. My mother in law told me about this place. They looked at my teeth and said there was nothing wrong. They was 8 years ago and been coming since.

I am excited that Dr. Allyson Domian has joined the practice with her father. She is so personable and has great bedside manner. She really made me feel comfortable and would recommend this practice to everyone. I can truly say I enjoy going to the dentist now!

Do not ever go to this dentist. He is very rude. He does not have any type of feelings for his patients. He screams and will even slam things if your trying to let him know you feel pain. They are very unorganized. If you ask me, the whole office needs to be shut down. He patches the dental work anyways. Later on, you'll end up needing it redone. If I were you I would go somewhere else.
