I moved to this area a few years back. I went to another dentist before going to Stetson. I went in for a cleaning and the other dentist told me I needed a cap on a tooth and had 2 cavities. I rarely have any issues and this seemed questionable as I had no signs of issues. I immediately went to Stetson Village and asked them to give me an exam for a secondary opinion. Stetson Village Family Dentistry gave me a clean bill of heath and were extremely understanding of my concern for a second opinion as well as just overall extremely professional. I have been going here now for 8 years and don't plan on switching. The honesty and professionalism at Stetson Village Family Dentistry will continue to earn my loyalty.

The office is so nice and of course Dr. Brock is a kind, personable person. He treats his staff and patients with kindness and respect. Overall this office is great.

My dental hygienist was Vanessa. She was very nice. And this was the first time that I saw the female doctor. I always seen Dr. Brock. She was very nice and went over my pano film.

I have been going since, I believe 2019. My teeth are in EXCELLENT shape. Thanks to this team of professionals. My team is all women which I love. My dentist Dr. Van Dyke is a dental artist. I had some amalgams with nickel that previous dentists put in many years ago. They needed to come out due to a nickel allergy, which was now giving me problems. One molar had a metal post in it. Dr. Van Dyke tried and could not get it done and referred me to Desrt Ridge Endodontists. That turned out to be a blessing because there was more going on in that tooth than was visible on the Xray. Having the foresight to have someone invovled with more appropriate tools to remove the stud, was such a blessing to me, as now we were able to cut off the road to disaster and prevent demise of the tooth. Tooth save, disaster avoided. Many a male dentist would probably have muscled the stud out and filled in the void, however sending me to another professional with a different skill set, saved me my tooth, may be my jaw, and a lot of hassle. The work Dr. Van Dyke and her team has been phenonimal. My teeth are in the best shape. She also worked on my son, he had some acute work done that was caused by the neglegent work of another dentist as well. Again she had the forsight to enlist another surgeon with a different skill set, who was able to halt severe demise. The work Dr. Van Dyke does is like that of a true artist dedicated to the welfare of her patients. I can highly recommend the practice of Dr. Brock and Dr. Van Dyke for all your dental needs. They have created a team of dedicated professionals to help keep your oral health in superb shape.

Update 08/03/2022 I'm still going to Stetson Village Family Dentist. I can't believe it has been seven years. WOW!!! They are a great team who cares about their clients. Great dentistry and customer service. Highly recommended. Original Post from 2015: This was my first visit.....Like most people the dentist is not my favorite place. From the time I walked in the door, the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. This was for my bi-annual cleaning and it went great. Kim was gentle and gave great information on dental care going forward. Dr. Brock did my exam, they let you see everything and explain things very well. He tells you what's recommended and what's required, including the benefit. I loved him and he really made me feel at peace during my visit. I finally found a dentist that I actually may like going to.

First time there, a little nervous at the beginning only because I had 2 dentist in the past that wanted work done on me that I felt wasn't necessary. And one dental hygienist that was rude and rough on me, After those 3 experiences I walked away and didn't return.If I need dental treatments communicate with me and explain why, and if we need the procedure done soon or if we can wait. I want an honest answer. I feel at this time I have come to the right place,. Also the staff was very professional and understanding to my answers Katherine J Bystrom

BEWARE! BAD BILLING PRACTICES FOLLOWED HERE!! I was shopping for braces for my teenage son. I got "entirely free" estimates from West Valley Pediatric Dentistry, Canyon Vista Dentistry, etc. They all did the same process like oral evaluation, x-rays, photographs & scan. But when I called Stetson Village Family Dentistry, they said that they charge $130 for brace evaluation. I told that I would not like to do the x-ray as I have a recently done one. They mentioned that in that case they would charge only $49 and that they would send it to my insurance Delta Dental who would cover it 100% based on my plan. I literally checked 10+ times with them over the phone and in-person about the cost and they confidently told me over and over that the total complete cost is $49, no other hidden or surprise charges to me or insurance, and that I would have to pay $0 out-of-pocket as the "only" charge of $49 which would be sent to my insurance. So, with that promise, I did the braces evaluation with them and then they billed $177 to my insurance. And an additional bill of $49 directly to me. I called my insurance and they said that this is not normal at all and the Dentist office is following unacceptable billing practices. They requested me to raise a grievance and appeal with the insurance for investigating this firm. I called Stetson Village Family Dentistry and explained them the situation but they kept chanting that they charge everyone like this. I told them they can charge whatever they like but why not tell it upfront to the customer in spite of me clarifying the exact same thing more than ten times? They wouldn't address that question. Instead they kept saying how awesome they are and how they bill all their customers like this. I paid them the additional money eventually. I was going to give them at least $5800 worth of business as they are the closest to my residence, but looking at this kind of fraudulent practices and irresponsible attitude, I'd rather go with West Valley Pediatric Dentistry or Canyon Vista Dentistry who are ethical and don't follow dishonest methods to extort money. I want to clarify that it is not just about the money, it is about business integrity, accountability and customer service. It was not an accidental miscommunication from their part as I asked more than ten times if the complete cost of getting an estimate from them would be not more than $49 and that would absolutely be the only amount sent to the insurance, and their answer every time was a confident yes. Now they don't stand by their words. So, please watch out. UPDATE: Thanks for your reply but you missed the point by a mile. I don't need explanation of charges. You can charge a million dollars for giving a brace estimate, I don't care. "BUT" you need to tell that upfront and not slap customers with surprise charges after the consult. That's fraudulent. I see one more customer has complained about the same. If you were honest, you'd back out the charge and fix the communication issue with your employees, instead of apologizing and still continuing to charge the customer.

The team at this business are a phenomenal group of people! I called several dental practices to get an emergency service, none of which could take me, but the ladies at the front desk here worked me into their otherwise busy schedule. I went in the same day I called and received a consultation, and then they booked me for the following morning to get the work done. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and professional from the front desk to the dentist and dental assistants. I felt very comfortable with everyone! Dr. Brock explained my X-rays and photos to me, what he would do to fix my broken tooth, and took time to answer any questions I had. They also provided me with estimates for the services, payment options, and went above and beyond to help me. They had complimentary chilled bottled water in the waiting area, TV to watch in the patient's rooms, and they also covered me with a soft blanket when I was cold during my procedure. I could not have asked for a better experience!

I started coming here for the first and last year. I had a rough start financially but they did a good job at working with me. they've been really nice and kind about my situation. I finally was able to pay the full amount to get some more work done. I just honestly appreciate everyone's kindness. I felt really embarrassed about my teeth! I actually still do but they've made me feel really comfortable along this journey trying to get my teeth healthy again. Suzanne has been great at front desk! Love this place a lot. Dr. VanDyke has been great explains Thoroughly! Thank you all Stetson !

Absolutely outstanding. I am a well seasoned dental patient, sadly, with an aversion to the dental office. SVFD has state put the art equipment, and inhouse lab, even CT scanner, without costing $$$$$. All were very friendly, professional, and the office is very clean. Highly recommend.

Having major tooth pain and they got me in next business day. From front desk staff to the hygienist to Dr. Brock, everyone was kind and helpful. He took the time to explain things to me and show me the images they took of my teeth. Recommended I see an endodontist and got me in same week to see one that comes right to their office! Very impressed with the professionalism. Bonuses: open until 7p mon-wed and have a discount plan for those without dental insurance that is really reasonable.
