Dr. Jason Nikkhah is a native of Scottsdale, Arizona. He moved to Virginia in 2004 and received his bachelors degree from George Mason University. He then attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.
Dr. Nikkhah enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is dedicated to the newest advancements, keeping up to date with the latest technologies through numerous continuing education courses. Dr. Nikkhah is devoted to educating his patients on all aspects of dentistry to allow them to make informed decisions regarding their oral health. He has also devoted much time volunteering in different areas of the country to help promote better oral healthcare. He has traveled throughout Virginia to work on children with limited or no access to dental care. His practice philosophy is based upon the premise that every patient is unique and makes recommendations as if the patient were a part of his own family.
Dr. Nikkhah graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2000 and has been practicing dentistry in the Northern Virginia area and Maryland ever since. Dr. Nikkhah opened our office in Sterling, VA in 2002 and now practices in both Sterling and Ashburn, VA.
Dr. Nikkhah's main objective is informing patients and guiding them to making great decisions about their oral health. With years of experience in both private practice and in the Army, Dr. Nikkhah has extensive knowledge on all aspects of dentistry and has taken numerous advanced courses that focus on cosmetics and community health. Being in the Army allowed her to give back to the soldiers serving our country and she has carried that level of care to patients who see her everyday. Dr. Nikkhah has seen many of her patients for over 15 years and built long term friendships that extend beyond the office.

I went to see Dr. Jason last year, I consulted with him about some work I needed to have done. He was friendly, informative and professional. Excellent bedside manner. Fast forward to about two weeks ago and I needed to have 6 teeth removed. Dr. Jason numbed me up very well, but I started to have a panic attack in the chair. Show stopper! Dr. Jason and his assistant called everything off - they were very concerned with my comfort. Three days ago I went back, better prepared for the visit and Dr. Jason was able to complete the extractions. Even though the extractions hurt pretty bad, it was very clear that Dr. Jason was doing his level best to be as gentle as possible. We took several breaks, he made sure I was doing well throughout the procedure. 90 minutes and 3 breaks later I left with my instructions and feeling very proud of myself. Later that day the office called to check up and the next day I popped in for a quick check up. Dr. Jason will be getting all of my future business and you would do well to give him your business too!

Wow! Dr Jason identified the cause of my pain AND a separate cavity that a previous dentist had missed, was incredibly flexible in fitting my related emergencies and endless concerns into his busy schedule, always made sure I felt comfortable during procedures, and referred me for an excellent second opinion when we weren't sure if I needed a root canal or not. It is such a relief to find someone I can trust to manage my dental care going forward. Thank you!

Finding a dentist could be easy, but finding a honest and professional dentist is not as easy as you think. It can cost you so much if a dentist is dishonest. I truly find doctor Jason Nikkhah to be the best dentist that has it all. He has been my dentist for almost a decade and I am very grateful. His staff is organized, punctual, and friendly as well.

It's hard to find an honest dentist in Northern Virginia, so Dr. Nikkhah is a rare gem. He doesn't try to sell unnecessary services. He's been very informative and straightforward with the dental work that I have needed amf and he has bee punctual with his appointments, which is also a rare experience in this area. His staff are also super friendly. He will not waste your time or money. I highly recommend Dr. Nikkhah and his practice, Sterling Family Dental.
