Dr. Smith is a caring dentist who grew up in Bradenton, Florida. He graduated from Lakewood Ranch High school and attended dental school at the University of Florida. In Gainesville he gained two passions: doing clinical dentistry, and his love of the Florida Gators! While in dental school at UF he excelled in restorative and prosthodontic dentistry, which allowed him to help many patients get their dream smile. Dr. Smith graduated with honors in the top 10 percent of his class at UF. After practicing in North Port, Florida for two years it was time to work closer to home.
Dr. Smith is the new owner ofSterling Dentaland he is very excited for the opportunity to treat patients in his home town. Dr. Smith recently married his dental school sweetheart and is enjoying his first year of marriage. His wife Jade is also a dentist working in the local community. He has two cats, Lydia and Meeko, and a Yorkie named Sadie. When Dr. Smith is not at the office he enjoys fishing, paddle boarding, and spending time with his friends and family. Dr. Smith is passionate about providing the highest quality dental care by utilizing the most advanced techniques and materials.

Dr. David Smith is a very attentive Dentist. Appreciated his thorough explanation of consequences of not having procedures done and other options. Most of all the difference it will make in appearance with or without procedure. Truly a Dentist dedicated to His work. The staff here are Amazing. Just a good wholesome environment you can feel. Thank You Dr. Smith for the work you do and for sure a staple in the town of Sarasota.

Now, I'm not one to review dentists. I'd rather pretend the dentist is imaginary until appointment time rolls around. Sterling Dental on the other hand, is a dentist even the most squeamish wouldn't fear. The gental touch, and top of the line equipment makes any procedure feel like nothing. I nearly fell asleep in the chair. Would nap there again.

The worst dentist I've ever seen in my life... this is the 5th time a crown of his has come off in less than a year!! He has no idea what he is doing. SAVE YOURSELF!!!

Everyone there was cordial and especially the gal that did my x-rays. Would use them but my insurance doesn't cover them.

I had a great experience with Dr. Smith and his staff. The Dr as well as his staff were kind and respectful. The Dr and his staff explained everything they were going to do. They listened to my concerns and addressed each one. I never had to wait more then 3 or 4 minutes in the waiting room. His appointments were right on time. I would recommend him to anyone needing a dentist.

I would highly recommend Dr. Smith and his superior team to all! The office is super nice, a warm environment, extremely professional and highly knowledgeable..I have super anxiety about my dental work, but the doctor is so kind and caring.. so happy with my choice with this team!!

Although the office staff is very kind and generous and I know doctor Smith meant well but I used all my insurance for the year to pay for something I could have gotten done free and the only reason why I did it's because I was so hopeful about getting Bridges done until they told me how much it was going to be I would have never let him do any dental work if I had known that the partial I have now doesn't fit and it hurt I should have did a little bit more research on dentist and pricing before settling just because of friend went there

I have found my new Dentist!! I had a very painful, infected tooth that needed extracted. My experience from the moment I walked in until I left was nothing short of fantastic! Dr. Smith and his entire staff are so very kind and know what they are doing. So glad I chose to go there and already have my next cleaning scheduled! I want to start by saying I had a amazing experience and Dr. Dave Smith made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I have had many terrible experiences and because of that I did not go to the dentist for many years and that resulted in many teeth issues. I'm so Happy and excited that I finally found this dental office! Everyone one was so nice and professional. I can't wait to start my dental plan and have a healthy Smile !!!!!

This is one of the best experiences I have ever had at a dentist office. The staff was very well prepared and helpful. The office is very clean. Dr. Smith was very kind and did not rush me through my appointment.I found their prices to be very fair. I would highly recommend this office to everyone.
