Was seen here for dental cleaning for a few years. That experience was sub-par and Stephens seemed more interested in engaging with his young female assistant, rather than listen to his patient. The main issue, is when I asked him if having my permanent retainers removed would cause shifting. He asked how long it had been since they were placed and with that information said, "absolutely not." The retainers were removed and my teeth proceeded to shift. Now, I've had to spend thousands of dollars to fix a mistake that was created solely by Stephen's incompetence. When I called Stephens to address the issue, he stated he would never recommend such a thing. When i asked for medical records of the procedure, there was no record of the removal of my permanent retainers. The odd thing about his behavior and obvious lies, is that he advised my brother that removal of his retainers' would not cause shifting of the teeth, with the exact same results (not sure if my brother attempted to obtain records). Either way; he is dishonest and incompetent.

Horrible place to deal with. The work is not quality work, had to go to a different dentist to get my teeth fixed as the fillings were not done right. Also they billing staff holds you responsible for other peoples billing. Between the bad work I had done on my teeth and my family as well and holding a person accountable for a bill that is not there's is a shady industry. I would look else where if you are planning to get your teeth done!

Great office, great dentists, great hygienists, and great office managers. My family and I have been with their office for over 15 years. Lori is special to my family as we've been working with her for over 20 years.

We have followed Dr. Stephens from LA to Westlake (more than an hour away) because he and his staff are so awesome. I have a little "dentist phobia" but that is no problem with Doc Stephens and his crew. They take great care of me and my family. You are always in good hands with them.

Dr. Stephens has the best touch of any dentist I've ever visited, and I have been a patient of several dentists and one dental school, so that is saying a lot. Excellent care! Also, the office staff is super efficient and nice, and they have the scheduling and billing thing down to perfection; I never feel in the dark.

Have been going to the office of Dr. Stephens and Dr. Bevans for a few years and I wish I would have found them sooner. Office staff are so professional and always on time. A real pleasure going to the dentist

The entire staff here is wonderful. They're cutting edge, proffesional, super friendly, and super gentle. I would highly recommend Dr. Stephens and the office as a whole.

Dr. Stephens is a great dentist and is very personable. I love his assistants. They are always so calming. I recently had an experience that broke my heart. I rescheduled an appointment and called on a Sat. to cancel it as I went out of town for a funeral. I then called on Monday to check if they received the call and reschedule my appt. That was all fine. About two weeks after my appt. I received a bill and on it was a same day cancellation for $85.00. I called and asked this to be removed as I made every attempt to reschedule and have never been late on a payment or had any out standing bills. In addition, I have referred people to Dr. Stephens. The front office gave me a hard time and then called to cancel one of my future appt. because of a schedule conflict ( that's what they said) but later that week I received a certified letter asking me to find another dentist. I was very disappointed and shocked. This is not how a client should be treated what so ever. Not for this type of dentistry. : (

If you're looking for a welcoming dentist office, Dr. Stephens practice is it! I have been seen by their hygienist, Lori, 3 times now over the past 18 months. She's always so sweet, remembers me. She's also super gentle on my teeth and gums! Great office location in Westlake Village and lots of parking!

I've been going to Dr. Stephens office for several years now and there are no words to describe how great and professional the staff and doctors are! From the time you walk in and are greeted with a sincere smile, right down to when you're leaving and everyone wishes you a fantastic day. The attention to detail and care goes beyond the norm in this industry. If you're in need of dental care, make and appointment and experience what gold star dental care really looks and feels like, you wont be sorry!

The staff are all terrific. They give me options and tell me how my insurance will contribute to my treatment plan. It's a very calm and soothing environment. Did I say the staff are all terrific?

Dr Stephens, Dr Bevan, Sue, Sylvia and ALL the staff are the most amazing individuals. I always get greeted by name and in an extremely friendly fashion. I don't see myself going anywhere else! Thank you all for taking such good care of me. I highly recommend Dr. Stevens, Dr Bevan and the entire staff.

I've been going to Dr. Stephens office for several years now and there are no words to describe how great and professional the staff and doctors are! From the time you walk in and are greeted with a sincere smile, right down to when you're leaving and everyone wishes you a fantastic day.
