Dr. Michael Stephens has been putting smiles on the faces of his patients for more than forty years. Dr. Stephens passion is to provide an exceptional dental experience to every patient, every day. He believes this is accomplished with his caring experienced staff and providing genuine care with the most modern dental equipment.
Dr. Stephens did his undergraduate work at the University of Oklahoma and Northeastern Oklahoma State. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor University College of Dentistry in Dallas Texas. While attending Baylor he was a member of the Odontological Honor Society and Psi Omega Fraternity.
He is married to Mary Beth and together, they spend most of their free time chasing after seven grandchildren, although you may find Dr. Stephens drag racing his Mustang Cobra Jet at a state track on the weekend.
Dr. Stephens is a lifelong resident of Muskogee, charter member of the Civic Exchange Club, and attends First Baptist Church. He and Mary Beth do philanthropic work with the Oklahoma Juvenile Diabetes Research Association and the Parkinsons Foundation. His granddaughter has type-one diabetes and his mom had Parkinsons before she passed away.

Staff is friendly! They got us in quickly when my daughter was experiencing teeth pain. They work together nicely and help to calmly comfort her during her visit! We appreciate the doctor and hygienist knowledge of what needed to be accomplished during the visit!! thanks for making an uncomfortable situation as pleasant as possible!

Very nice and found out my daughter needed a few fillings and jumped right in and did em and referred her to oral surgeon in Tulsa for her wisdom teeth

I had to have 2 teeth pulled. The procedure was painless. My jaw is a little swollen today, ( totally expected after having 2 teeth extracted) , but the soreness is minimal.

Had a cleaning and checkup a few weeks ago and was told my teeth were great, just needed my wisdom teeth out. Go in for the removal today and was asked if I wanted to get my cavities filled too. I was never told about said cavities. I feel like that is a big thing to forget to mention. Wisdom teeth removal went smoothly though. Very quick.

Everyone is always very nice and makes sure you're comfortable. They have always been fast at getting me seen and doing whatever needs to be done. Dr. Stephens is friendly and is a great dentist.

You could not ask for kinder staff or Dentist. My experience was very welcoming and pleasant. If you or someone you know is looking for a change or possibly a first time Dentist I definitely would recommend Dr.Stephens and staff.

I had a great experience at Dr Stephens Office. I was having problems with a tooth and he was able to take care of the situation. He provide a specialist for a special procedure. When I could not get into the specialist office in a timely manner and in a lot of pain, his staff was reaching out to check on me and due to the pain he fit me into his his schedule and completed the procedure. All the staff have been very professional and very nice. This was my first experience at this office and he is now my dentist. Today I went to the office to get my teeth cleaned and the staff was professional and nice. I good not ask for better service.

Great staff, well trained and effective. Pain mediation is one of their top priorities. The quality of work done by all, especially Dr. Stephens, is amazing. I recommend this dentist and crew to anyone! Excellent people!
