Dr. Jack Stephens graduated from Houstons University of Texas Dental School in the top 10% of his class following undergraduate work at Sam Houston State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in biology. His passion for expanding his knowledge includes thousands of continuing education hours focused on dental implantology, orthodontics, laser dentistry, and CAD/CAM dentistry in order to bring the highest quality dentistry to his patients. In his leisure time, Dr. Stephens enjoys spending time with his wife of over 35 years, Robin, and their children, Zach and Brooke. His hobbies include fly fishing, water skiing, snow skiing, sailing, bird hunting, racing, biking, scuba diving and flying.
Dr. Robert Gatewood earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree from Houstons University of Texas Dental School, followed by three years of service in the Navy, including a yearlong hospital-based general practice residency. This allowed Dr. Gatewood invaluable opportunities to shadow talented specialists in a variety of healthcare disciplines and gain clinical, hands-on experience that shaped his vision of providing high-quality dental treatment to each and every patient.
When his military service was completed, Dr. Gatewood continued to expand his knowledge base with continuing education courses that include advanced studies in Invisalign, CEREC technology, and dental implantology. Dr. Gatewoods professional memberships and accomplishments include:
Outside the office, Dr. Gatewood is active in charitable work with his church and enjoys spending time with his wife, Donna, and their children, Grant and Alex. His hobbies include skiing, wake surfing, scuba diving and traveling.

Dr. Christopher Pagano at Stephen's & Gatewood is an excellent dentist. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Pagano at their Auburn Lakes office in Spring, Texas over the past 6 years. Dr. Pagano has corrected several long term dental issues and did excellent dental implants for me. Melissa is my dental hygienist. The whole staff is very nice and professional. Dr. Pagano and his staff are the ones you can really trust, for your dental health.

As the 300th review, I would like to agree with everyone else. Five stars. Dr P was a blast to have as a dentist and actually kept me very distracted discussing movies as he took care of several cavities that I had. So refreshing! Went in for what I thought was a bad cavity, but after x-ray, it was just a small spot. Didn't even have to have Novacaine. In & out in a jiffy! They have been my dentist for years, and this is exactly why I highly recommend Stephens & Gatewood !!!

Amy is so friendly and professional and has always found a way to work around my crazy nurse work schedule. Shaneese (sorry if I misspelled) and Dr. Pagano are the most fantastic team. There is not a day that goes by that I am not stopped and told how beautiful my smile is. I always give Stephens and Gatewood all the credit! You will never find a better dental practice, hands down they are the best.

Worth the read I promise: Upon finding this place via Google I had previously not been to a adult dentist within the last 6 ish years I'll admit. It had a great reviews about how the dentist and staff were very sweet kind and gentle. I decided to make an appointment to see for myself. Upon the first appointment I felt very comfortable I had three cavities that needed to get filled nothing major and they let me know that they understand the needle part is what I was afraid of and they will make me feel comfortable the day of. They were very informative on how to brush they actually were very detailed in a way I'm shocked other dentists aren't and I truly appreciate it. Today was my cavity filling day and I came in nervous since I don't like needles yet they made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. They put a laughing gas mask on me then they put a gel substance that numbed the entire area extremely well I might add. Next was the first set of numbing shots which I actually did not feel at all after the second I was officially numb and the dentist left the room and came back 10 minutes later I could not feel a thing in my face which made me feel so comfortable about the rest of the procedure. He told me at most you may feel some vibration or some pressure but this is not the"pressure" that other doctors tell us and then it actually hurts this is literally nothing. After it was all said and done they checked me a few times to make sure everything was just right and sent me on my way I felt wonderful the entire time no pain I did not freak out and I definitely highly recommend them to anyone especially if you're nervous about the dentist like me or shall I say like I was until I found this place. Truly a big and wonderful thank you to the entire staff here and Dr gatewood himself was the one who did my feelings today big shout out to him I am so thankful I've found this practice and highly recommend them to anyone!

I just had the best experience with Stephens and Gatewood Dental...I called and expected to be given an appointment for 2 or 3 days! They welcome me on the same day! The whole office staff were so helpful and in sync! Jill and Dr Gatewood took very good care of my issues. I can't say enough of how they have restored my faith and hope in dealing with my complex dental issues. This is the beginning of recovery and restoration

This office is AMAZING! Their customer service is too notch. I called to make an appointment and although they didn't have any appointments until August, they happily helped me in scheduling for their Cypresswood office and put my name down for any cancelations. I got a call later that day and jumped at the opportunity for an earlier appointment. The office is beautiful, calming and welcoming. The front office staff are very professional and sweet. My dental hygienist, Allie, was personable, caring and detailed in explaining everything that she was doing. I will DEFINITELY be returning and recommending this office to my friends and family.
