Dr. David Stephens was born and raised in Williston Vermont, a Vermont native, having attended Champlain Valley Union High-School and the University of Vermont, where he graduated with a Biology degree in 2001. After graduation, Dr. Stephens worked as a surgical assistant for an oral surgery group in South Burlington. He entered dental school in 2003 at the renowned Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.
Graduating at the top of his class in early 2008 he and his wife, Gabriella, moved to his wifes home state of Rhode Island. In Rhode Island he began his dental career working at a busy full-service practice located outside Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Stephens enjoyed nearly 5 years working in Rhode Island and built solid relationships with his patients and other area dental professionals, but has always retained a desire to return to his native Vermont.
It was his love for, and deep rooted connection to, his home state that were the driving force behind his return. Dr. and Mrs. Stephens, along with their daughters Lidia and Camille and their dog Gus, are very excited about growing their family in such a wonderful place and reconnecting with family and friends throughout the state.
Dr. Stephens sharpens his skills through a magnitude of continuing education courses each year which improve his knowledge base, and also allow him to offer more comprehensive care to his patients by exploring the latest in dental treatment technologies. Dr. Stephens will bring exciting new life into the practice, combining his breadth of knowledge and up-to-date dental skills, with his love for his home-state and the people of Vermont.

Extraordinary care. I've had a nearly debilitating fear of dental work which resulted in the need for significant care in the last 18 months. Dr. Stephens is the most gentle, patient, and thorough dentist I've ever encountered. I've gone from requiring anesthesia for a basic cleaning to sitting through major dental work without much at all. A note about the staff: I showed up in the parking lot on a Monday morning at 7:30am without appointment in incredible pain. I was received and handled with great care, immediately. They get five stars for compassion alone.

I have been going to Dr Stephen's as long as he has owned his business. I went there before hand for over 20 years. The transition to a new dentist can be a bit overwhelming but not this time. Dr Stephen's has done several complicated procedures and I can't praise him enough. I never have felt over charged like I have elsewhere. Laura at the helm is prompt and curious. I had a lapse in insurance and the one thing I don't want to deal with. Laura took it upon herself to get me back on tack. Thank you to whole team there. I'm moving out of state and was concerned about a new dentist trust is a big issue from my experience. Dr Stephen's told me to call if I need any advice. Thank you sir

Everything you could hope for in a dentist! Incredibly skilled, efficient, professional, but also fun and welcoming. The whole staff is great, full of kind greetings and easy laughter. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to this office for 17 years and it is the best in the state. I used to be local so it was convenient, but the staff is so excellent and professional that I continue to use them even after moving almost an hour away. Doctor Stephens is kind and very knowledgeable. If you care about your teeth then you will come here.

Doctor Stephens is so kind and generous and just so down to earth! I had a tooth problem which could have been a filling or a root canal and instead of being a "business man" Doctor Stephens explained my options as if I was a family member or close friend! He told me what what he would do, explained options both positive and negative for each choice and we went from there! It ended up being able to fix with a filling and I walked away a very happy patient! The rest of the staff is super friendly and helpful as well! Their office is easy to get to near the "city" and easy to get in and out of! Highly recommend!
