The communities they serve include Omak, Quincy, Okanogan, Brewster, Chelan, Methow, Leavenworth, Cashmere, Royal City, Ellensburg, and more.
Dr. Ottosen graduated from The University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1994 and The University of Washington Endodontic Specialty Training in 1996. His research was in NiTi rotary instruments.He opened our Wenatchee office in 1996 and our Moses Lake office in 1997.
Dr. Ottosen enjoys teaching his fellow dentists about Endodontics. He has taught for the University of Washington continuing education department. He provides Endodontic continuing education to several Washington study clubs and dental societies.
Dr. Nygard graduated from The University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2012 and The University of Florida Endodontic Specialty training in 2014. His research was on root canal preparation sizes and disinfection techniques to maximize canal cleanliness for improved success rates. He moved back home to Wenatchee and joined Dr. Ottosens practice in 2014. Dr. Nygard works in both the Wenatchee office and the Moses Lake office.
Dr. Nygard has been on the Dental school admissions board for the University of Washington. He enjoys working with his fellow dentists and educating them on the latest techniques and modalities to improve endodontic success rates. Dr. Nygard provides continuing education through several Washington dental societies and study clubs.

5 star review for a root canal!?!...who'd of thought that would be a thing. Dr. Ottosen and assistant Casey were polite, professional, efficient, and most importantly numbed me up so good I didn't feel anything! Many thanks.

I gave them one star because- My dentist made an appointment for me, they called me two days later and told me they needed $100.00 immediately, to hold my spot on their calendar- which was approx. 1 month away. I felt this to be a poor financial practice in building bridges with potential customers. I canceled and went somewhere else.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before posting my review, as I wanted to see how the healing process went. The office is lovely, all of the front office staff I encountered were awesome, and Kevin Nygard was my doctor that day. I had two broken teeth and arguably the worst ones when it comes to regularly eating: 2 and 15. I had trained myself for over a year not to introduce anything cold to either side of my mouth and nothing at all on the left due to exposed dental pulp. I conveyed that I was terrified of the pain my brain had taught itself to avoid, as it was extreme if I agitated them. I couldn't even fully brush my teeth, let alone swish cold water around my mouth. I talked a lot during my procedure because of how much anxiety I had, even with a rubber dam in my mouth, and Dr. Nygard and his awesome assistant were more than comforting; they kept talking to me at my request to keep my mind distracted. He made sure the problem areas were completely numb before performing any work and was very attentive to how I was feeling. I had both root canals done at the same time and within a few days of healing, I started the difficult process of re-teaching my brain to enjoy foods of all temps and textures on both sides of my mouth, but cautiously, as this experience really kicked my butt and I'm more than grateful to live normally again. By the time they got to my second tooth, I had quieted down a lot and my anxiety had receded because of how smooth the first root canal therapy went. I can't recommend this office enough! Dr. Nygard is a true professional and a pleasure to converse with. They are so comforting and will tailor to your preferences as much as they can. Top notch work with very fast healing times and we shared some good chuckles. At one point we talked about Matthew McConaughey movies and we were all laughing

Came here to get a root canal fixed that went bad. I have had a few nightmare root canals that caused a lot of pain in the past. These guys are awesome. Zero pain during procedure and very little discomfort after. Highly recommend these guys. Staff is awesome, very sweet and compassionate. I will NEVER GO TO THE BUTCHERS IN ISSAQUAH AGAIN.

First time client of Dr. Ottosen today. Always nervous of dental work, especially just the thought of a root canal. But boy the technology now is absolutely amazing. He and his staff are very professional and care for their patients. Highly recommended. Thank you Lisa :)

Dr. Ottosen performed a root canal on one of my upper molars. At 7:10 am. Now, who really wants to give a good review for a root canal? Me. During the one hour procedure by Dr. Ottosen I felt no pain. None whatsoever. The doctor got right at the work and got it done. He was sensitive to my needs but really, getting the work done as quickly as possible was the best thing he could do. When done, he showed me my xray and explained what he had done. Here I sit, 14 hours later, and I have still felt no pain. Why did I wait five years to get this done? I guess so I could meet up with Dr. Ottosen. My previous dentist insisted on pulling the tooth and installing an implant or bridge. No way. To top it off, Dr. Ottosen called me himself at 8 pm to check on me. As a bonus, his office staff and dental assistants are great. Highly recommended!
