Dr. Ho has practiced dentistry in his hometown of Honolulu since 1981. He received his BA in psychology and his DDS from Creighton University. In 1990, Dr. Ho held the position of secretary for the Honolulu County Dental Society. He also served on that organizations peer review committee for several years. In 1995, he became the chairman for the Hawaii State Peer Review Committee. Dr. Ho assists as a grader for the Dental License Board, and he served on the Dental Education Committee in 2000 to identify the most current seminars for Hawaii dentists.
Continuing EducationDr. Ho attends numerous continuing education classes each year to keep his clinical skills current with the latest advances in dentistry. His specialties include dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and general dentistry.
He has attended courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and Spear Education Seminars. To complete this advanced level of training, Dr. Ho attended several other high-level courses. Over the years, Dr. Ho has improved hundreds of smiles. He also educates other dentists by speaking to study clubs and conducting lectures at dental offices.

Charlene has been a member of our staff since 2008 and has worked in dentistry for over 20 years! Prior to working in the front office, Charlene was a dental assistant for over 10 years. With her experience as an assistant, Charlene is very knowledgeable and well-versed on all of our offices operations and procedures.
Charlenes favorite part of her job is developing long lasting friendships with our patients and seeing the joy people have after they see themselves with a beautiful new smile. We always exceed their expectations.
Cathy has been working with us since 2014 and has worked as a dental assistant for over a decade. Her greatest contribution to our office is the way she puts people at ease. Patients feel comfortable and confident of their treatment when they see Cathys smiling face.
Babylene has been working with us since 2017 as a dental assistant and has a wealth of knowledge having worked in several top notch offices. She graduated from Heald College in 2012 withher dental assistant degree.Her free time is spent being with her friends, going to the beach and taking trips. She has been to Las Vegas and her dream is to explore other parts of the world like Japan and Europe.

Dr.Ho and his staff are the best!If you're looking for an honest and experienced dentist,you should check out this place.I was referred here by a friend when my previous dentist retired.Dr. Ho double checks everything and found a cracked tooth i didn't know i had.They have a digital xray machine that can instantly show an enlarged picture.Thank God he saw the crack because it was from 2 sides and could have broken in half.He was able to save my tooth without an expensive root canal.Dr. Ho also saved me from going to a specialist for gum disease that was starting because i smoke cigarettes.He told me the things i could do and did a deep cleaning procedure that worked.Also,all of his staff are very professional and they won't overcharge you or do any unnessasary work,like i read about in other dentists reviews.

Up until a couple of years ago I went a long time without dental insurance, so I for sure needed some work done the first time I saw Dr. Ho. Since then I've had a couple root canals on the same tooth (poor fella), a few cleanings and a filling, and they were all pretty quick and painless, and everyone has always been super nice and knowledgeable. I used to hate going to the dentist as a kid, but now I sorta skip to my appointments without really worrying that I'm about to have a bunch of fingers and metal sticks poking around in my mouth, because doctor appointments are never really that bad when the staff are good at what they do.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Ho and his entire staff. I needed quite a bit of dental work done and after several visits I couldn't be more happy with my experience. Dr. Ho and his staff are genuinely so kind, caring, and professional. In addition, Dr. Ho took his time to explain what work needed to be done and why. I also experienced no pain during all of my procedures (cleanings, root canal, cavity fillings, etc.) I will continue to choose Dr. Ho as my new dentist because of his professionalism, expertise, kindness, and staff! Dr. Ho is an amazing dentist who I've been going to for over 30 years since I was a little kid. My whole family has been going to him and we all love him and the staff! Staff is extremely friendly and Dr. Ho is very caring and informative. Best dentist by far, hands down!

My wife introduced me to Dr Ho and his team about 9-10 years ago now and I don't trust anyone else with my dental needs. All the staff is very accommodating and friendly! Dr Ho will have two more customers once my kids get older!

Dr. Ho and his staff are great! I don't think I've ever felt so comfortable at a dentist's office. Everyone there is so patient and takes the time to answer even the smallest questions and explain what needs to be done and also what I could be doing on my own. Dr. Ho carefully laid out a plan for me to get back on track with my dental health, I've had some of the gentlest cleanings I've ever had, and they even helped me figure out how I could work my treatment plan financially. If you need dental treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Ho's office.

I am a 75 year old retired physician and surgeon. I have lived in many places and have had many dentists. Many of them were good, and some were very good. But i can confidently say that Dr. Ho is the best. He possesses all the attributes one would want in one's dentist. I would say the most important one is tremendous skill. His numbing shots are done not only without pain, but without any sensation at all. His work is beautiful and is performed deftly and quickly. He is versed in the full spectrum of general and restorative dentistry, including implants, which in itself is impressive. Beyond the technical aspect, he is completely attentive to one's concerns and is willing to take time, discuss options, and review x-rays in a relaxed and respectful manner. He is willing to adapt the care plan to suit the patient's preferences, and he values the preservation of native tooth structure above all. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the office is well-appointed. The location is central, yet there is good off-street free parking. In short, i recommend Dr. Ho highly and without reservation to all, including to friends and family.

I am extremely happy to have found Dr. Ho. All of the staff are super friendly and welcoming. I felt comfortable, from the time I made my first appointment over the phone with Char, to the very end of my visit. Dentists have always been a big fear of mine, but Dr. Ho and his assistants were gentle, and everything was pain free. Every time I went in, there was no wait time. They are thorough in explaining each process and what to expect for future visits. Thank you Dr. Ho! I have found my new dentist!

I've been going to Doctor Ho for a few years now and it has been the best dental experience of my life. From the pleasant and friendly staff right when you walk through the door to the affordable prices and convenient Waikiki location with parking on site, makes this dental office the best in town. I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, getting x-rays, fillings, etc. Doctor Ho and his kind staff (Char, Nat, & Precious) make the experience extremely convenient and pain-free. I cannot recommend them enough.
