Dr. Stephen Henry received his bachelors degree in animal physiology from theUniversity of California, Davisin 1976. He then attended theUniversity of Southern California, earning his masters degree in human physiology in 1977. Dr. Henry attended dental school at theUniversity of California, San Francisco(UCSF), graduating in 1981. Dr. Henry has been practicing in the Foster City, California, area since March 1983. He strives to deliver the best dentistry possible in the most comfortable and pleasant manner while educating his patients about their oral health.
Dr. Henry is committed to continuing his education. He takes over 150 hours of continuing education courses every year. Dr. Henry has been a member of the continuing education department at the UCSF School of Dentistry since 1985. He has received advanced training in aesthetics, TMD, sleep apnea, laser dentistry, implant surgery, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Henry is a member of theAmerican Dental Association(ADA), theCalifornia Dental Association(CDA), theSan Mateo County Dental Society, the Craniomandibular Institute, theAdept Institute, and theAcademy of General Dentistry. Dr. Henry has served as the president of the Northern California Academy of General Dentistry and the San Mateo County Dental Society.

Best team ever! I just went in for a simple cleaning and it's always a good experience. From my warm welcome at the front desk, to the expert dental cleaning and her advice and finally a cherry check in and hello from Dr. Henry, I always feel like I am important to them. I would be remiss NOT to recommend Dr. Henry's office to anyone looking for a dentist and staff who are thorough, thoughtful. They take your individual concerns seriously and design a detailed treatment plan for you so there will be no surprises! I changed dentists and just had my first cleaning appointment at Dr. Henry with Tammy. Very thorough and gentle cleaning experience. Cordial, professional and personal service from the entire team. They adhere to COVID guidelines and I felt safe there - this being my first the dentist appointment after months of postponing due to COVID.

To Dr. Henry & Staff, Thank you Anne for researching my Medicare coverage and explaining to me the breakdown. I appreciated knowing ahead of time my financial obligation. Dr Henry was very informative on my dental issue. I appreciate him explaining what he saw happening with my bridge and a solution plus future preventative actions. I just wish he was in my network of dentists . Even still I might just weigh out the financials and pay out of pocket to come here. Very positive experience! Thank you, Linda

I've been seeing Dr. Henry since he opened his practice & I have complete trust in him. I've had a lot of dental problems over the past few years & he has been very accommodating & understanding & is a dentist who doesn't believe in pulling your teeth - he believes in trying to do everything to save them!! His office staff from Vise down to the hygienists & dental assistants are absolutely wonderful & up on the latest techniques, etc.
