I have been going to Dr. Ostwald's office for 15+ years. He is a great doctor, and everyone who works there is great as well. The office is filled with light and has nice views from all the chairs. I think it must be the most pleasant dental practice in the world.

This was the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had. The dentist was so kind and answered all of my questions and I wish I had come to him with my tooth chip in the first place as I went elsewhere where they did a terrible repair job. I would recommend him to everyone.

I have been going to Dr. Ostwald's office for thirty years. During that time, after multiple fillings, crowns, and bridges, I can heartily recommend Dr. Ostwald to anyone needing dental care. He will take the time to explain the procedure and ensure that the patient is comfortable and safe. During the time of this pandemic, his office is well organized and equipped to protect against the possible exposure and transmission of the virus to staff and patient. There is no need to delay needed treatment in this regard.

I've been Stephen's patient for over 30 years. He's an excellent dentist clinically and a helluva nice guy personally. His staff are top notch too. You can't go wrong with Dr Ostwald.

I am so grateful I found Dr Ostwald's practice. I have an incredible fear of the dentist. I found out that Dr. Ostwald is especially sensitive to this 'condition', and he accommodates my (irrational) fear by listening to me, allowing me to listen to distracting music, and he informs me of everything he is doing so I know what to expect. Dr Ostwald will stop drilling if I ask him to - this makes me trust him completely. Dr. Ostwald is an expert at numbing the part of my mouth he needs to work on. He has all the equipment necessary to perform a root canal, and place a custom crown in a most expedient way which reduces the amount of time I have to be exposed to my fear of the procedure. I know come in regularly for cleanings which is a a huge change for me. Before I met Dr Ostwald and his staff, I hadn't been to the dentist in almost 10 years. Dr Ostwald is a great dentist! My fear of procedures is greatly reduced and I receive the very best dental work! Thank you!

I've known Dr. Ostwald since he was a resident at the Mount Zion Dental Clinic back in the early 80s. He has been my dentist for 30 years. Can't recommend him highly enough. As well as being an excellent and compassionate dentist, he is a man of integrity. Although he is careful to inform me of the risks and benefits of any dental work that's not urgent but might lead to problems later on, I have never felt pressured to have the work done. I feel free to make the decision in my own time. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and over 30 years there hasn't been much turnover; to me this indicates that Dr. Ostwald is a good and fair employer. I would recommend Dr. Ostwald to anyone who's looking for a good dentist!

I went to Dr. Ostwald for an emergency when my regular dentist was on vacation. He was able to see me very quickly & appreciated the pain & possible ramifications of an abscess. He treated me & relieved the immediate symptoms. I returned to him a second time for an extraction. His professional & caring attitude is shared by his dental assistant and receptionist. I would definitely recommend their practice.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Ostwald for well over a decade. His genuine care, thoughtfulness, and excellent skill and knowledge are wonderful! He seems always to be in the vanguard regarding most recent methods, skills and technology. He has not insisted or suggested doing more than what was needed, and has saved teeth by his skills that others might have wanted to apply more costly remedies for. You can trust and rely on his recommendations and ability to always do the best in each situation.

I suffer from dental fear; I need meds just for teeth cleanings, let alone more invasive procedures. Dr Ostwald is the best dentist I've found for both treating my teeth and keeping me calm during procedures. If dentists terrify you this is your guy.

The office had clearly prepared for the new norm as we adjust to personal services during a pandemic. That made me feel relatively safe and comfortable. Dr. Ostwald took time to explain the procedures to this new patient and to answer my questions. He obviously knows his stuff and is generous with his time. I did not understand the use of a fluoride toothpaste (Gel 5000) and whether fluoride is safe for me. And of course I thought of questions after I left the office and should have asked more detailed questions about the charges.
