Horrible Service!!!! Was in middle of my sons root canal and we were sent back out to lobby because another patient complaining on time. But we have waited our prior visit 25 minutes before we got called. And today we waited 15 minutes after our appt time.. Remind you dentist said only had 10 minutes or less left at 410pm. But they rather traumatize my son and have to re-numb him and start over. Front office lady told me when I canceled my appt for Friday she don't want me back.Her excuse my sons appt was 1 hour scheduled but remind you this is our 3rd time here. First time scheduled we came no call and office was closed. Second Appt scheduled root canal he said don't need and made us come leave and come back today when we were here. Said couldn't do that day as only root canals but I'm in wrong today.. No your wrong for making a child go thru this experience again. Horrible customer service from the gal with RED hair behind counter!!! And she said she is office manager!!! Horrible management!!!! Horrible service to kids!!!! Unprofessional staff talking about other patients in front of others. I was not allowed to be present in room while things were completed on my son as I upset the dentist wife by speaking up. So punish my child for me speaking up.. WOW what horrible service by dentist and his wife. Punish my child and he wanted me in room and began to cry... Horrible Service!!!!! We are still here 3 hours later after 6:20pm!!!! Then he said his tooth is not complete and can't finish!! My son told me after getting home he was treated horribly and roughly handled when I wasn't allowed in the back. Horrible to traumatize a child!!! My son is crying in excruciating pain now.

I just experienced a professional teeth cleaning by Annette & learned a cleaning method I'd never heard about before. Fantastic dental office!!

The staff is super friendly and accommodating.Dr Klein is very professional ,made me feel comfortable before starting procedure. Satisfied with all treatments he's done on my tooths. highly recommend!!

Dr. Klein dental office is clean the staff are kind new to Bakersfield brought my son in to see Dr. Klien my son didn't want to even be seen he's had a fear of denist since he was 11yrs old because of how he was treated at another Dentist office Dr. Klein let him know that he was there to help him not hurt him and made my son comfortable Dr. Klein saw he had a bad infection he immediately sent us to the emergency and he called just to check on my son l never met any dentist that shows real concern about his patients health like seriously he deserves all the stars and then some as long as l am here that man will be my family and l Dentist until he retires and l hope once he retires we find a new Dentist good as he is

Extremely rude and unprofessional!! Wish i didnt waste my time there. Had to cancel all my services there for his negligence. Went in with pain after he worked on my root canal and since i used insurance gave me a whole speech about it while trying to charge me $250 to pay his workers and for the tools he was going to use when i clearly have full coverage insurance. Since i didnt pay him he didnt even bother to take a look at what was wrong! Never going there again!

I am SO happy I found Dr. Klein's office - this office is a rare gem. If you have a chance to go here, take it - you're very lucky! Everyone I interacted with, from the kind woman who booked my appt, Dr. Klein, the hygienist (Annette), the x-ray tech, and front desk staff were amazing. They fit me in quickly when I explained my transportation issues, and fit everything in on one day. I arrived a few minutes early. Dr. Klein took me to the room with no waiting, and started a conversation about my teeth grinding issues before the appt even began. He was very sharp, and seemed to have a wealth of knowledge about it. He asked multiple questions to try and narrow down possible causes - something no dentist has done with me. He left while the tech took X-rays, then returned for the appt. There's a few things that stood out about Dr. Klein: 1. He's compassionate, and wants his patients to be comfortable. The first thing he did when he came in was offer me a blanket because he could tell I was cold. He told me not to hesitate to ask if I needed another. His assistant gave me a pillow to make me more comfortable, even though I didn't ask for anything. All for a routine exam! 2. He digs deep into your dental history, and is very thorough. Most dentists I've been to jump straight to checking teeth without much talk, but Dr. Klein asked a ton of questions about my dental history to get a clear picture of my situation. 3. He's incredibly knowledgeable about his field. Every topic/concern I asked about, he not only answered, but seemed to have a wealth of knowledge about it at his fingertips. He recognized my flourosis immediately, and even went back to his office to retrieve some old journal articles about lesser known techniques to treat it. He's an excellent communicator, and explains everything in a way you understand. At the same time, he's very humble. I never felt talked down to, rather like he was talking to a peer. 4. He really seems to love what he does. He just seemed comfortable, like he was in an environment he loved. When he shared those journal articles about flourosis, he seemed genuinely excited to be explaining it to someone, like he was truly enjoying and geeking out over it. It was so refreshing! 5. He takes a conservative approach to dentistry - as in, doesn't jump to procedures without being 100% sure they're necessary. This is a problem with many dentists I've been to, so I was worried finding a new dentist. Dr. Klein put these worries to rest. He was upfront from the start about his approach, and the exam proved it. 6. He encourages a second opinion if he's not 100% sure, and refers to the proper specialist if needed. He noticed two teeth that would likely require a root canal; he was upfront and said he'd be uncomfortable doing them because the way the nerves in those teeth were. He referred me to an endodontist because he said I have a full set of teeth and wouldn't want to take any chances. He gave me a hand-written referral before I left, and explained everything I needed to do. 7. Goes above and beyond to care for his patients - he took the time out of his day to personally call me and follow up. Completely unexpected! Finally, the dental hygienist who did my cleaning - Annette. She was excellent, and like Dr. Klein, incredibly thorough, experienced, and knowledgeable. She was SO thorough, and spent a full hour cleaning my teeth because she wanted to work a couple bad spots. She did an amazing job - my teeth felt SO clean afterwards, I couldn't believe it! She showed me a brushing technique to keep the problem teeth clean, and made sure I understood it before I left. Hands down - best cleaning I've ever had! I feel blessed having found Dr. Klein's office. This is a genuine, old-fashioned medical practice that really cares about you. It's staffed with experienced, passionate professionals who are razor sharp and full of knowledge. They're upfront and transparent. You couldn't be luckier to stumble upon this place! If you have the chance to go here, don't pass it up!

The Dr is extremely rude to start off. After having a very uncomfortable first appointment for X-rays, they scheduled me for a follow up appointment. I came down with COVID symptoms and since my appointment was on a Monday, I called Monday morning and let them know I wouldn't be making it in and would like to reschedule. The Dr calls me back directly and basically guilt trips me about not showing up and says that he had to pay overtime to his staff for me to have my appointment and that there's no excuse and it didn't matter if I had COVID symptoms (which I was coughing, had a sore throat with tonsillitis like symptoms, and a fever). We called back twice to complain and spoke to an extremely rude receptionist who basically repeated what the Dr said and told me that "most considerable people" would have called the day before (which would have been when they were closed). I will never go back, not will I recommend anyone go to this guy. I will also report him to the medical board and make sure everyone knows how much they actually care about.patients over there. Good riddance.

First time at this dental office and I already recommended most of my friends and relatives to this Klein Family Dental. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the front desk, the staffs treat me with respect and honest. Dr. Klein was able to take care my pain from 10 to 0 in less than 6 minutes. I will definitely and ONLY spend my moneys at this dental office, it's true Worth it. Don't believe me, try it yourself and you realize how fast and helpful the staffs and the Doctor.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating! I had a dental emergency and they were able to do the extraction same day even though I was a new patient. Dr. Klein was very professional and made me feel at ease & made sure I was comfortable before starting the procedure. Highly recommended!

Had an appointment for my daughter Natalie and front staff was so helpful and friendly. Dr Klein was so nice and explained details for my daughters treatment. I have been to two previous dentists and I finally found a dr that is wiling to listen.

Dr. Klein is so professional and is able to treat work with people of all racial, ethnic, cultural, religious socioeconomic backgrounds and ability levels. His integrity and professionalism are unparalleled to his dependability and are demonstrated in his work. Annette is the best dental hygienist! She is kind and takes time to make sure all questions and concerns are met. The entire office takes their job very seriously and the office is always really clean and free of clutter. I'm so happy to share Dr. Klein's office with my son. Families are welcome! We always leave with a smile! Thank you, Stephen M. Klein DDS, the only dentist office for my family.

Dr. Stephen Klein has been my Dentist for over 7+ years now! And I gotta say I've never met another dentist quite as talented and kind! Definitely the best dentist I have ever had in my life! I recommend him to any and everyone 100x over!!!!!!!

It's a nice cozy environment with an awesome who are wholeheartedly down to earth and I love that they don't sugar-coat anything. They give you the straight truth and if more people would just show up on time and not cancel their appointments that'd be awesome because their staff deserves the world for being amazing

Just recently move in the neighborhood about two blocks away from doctor Klein's office I Was having lots of pain due to a Tooth infection was on so much pain I and came in as a new patient the doctors office and he took care of me since the first visit. That night he called and make sure I was doing better not many dentists do that for their patients. I was so happy I came to this office the staff and the doctor are excellent!! I strongly recommend Dr. Klein thank you doctor for taking care of me!

My friend was google searching for a dentist that could help my son with a Emergency root canal that took his insurance. She found this place. We called up and Dr Klein took us in at near closing time and stayed late to help us. Thank you Dr Klein!
