With over 25 years of clinical experience, Stephen C. St. Louis DDS FAGD is an expert dentist practicing in Fairfax, Virginia. I've been going here for 3 years, but never have I had such a positive experience as yesterday. I had a new hygienist, but I've always been satisfied with the staff in all departments. My new hygienist asked me if there was anywhere in my mouth that was sensitive. I have a permanent retainer that I've had for 15 years, and tartar builds up between each visit. This area has become extremely sensitive throughout the years, and after each dentist visit, I typically have an ache there for days. I told the hygienist this, and she said "okay, I'll put a topical anesthetic there". I've never been offered this, and this was like night and day. I wish I knew her name so I could acknowledge her properly, but I want to thank her for all she did yesterday and for making sure I had no pain today! I highly recommend this office and all their staff for all dental needs.

They are the best and I mean everyone from Stephen, the dental hygienists to the receptionist. Everyone is polite and professional. I've been with them for 4 years. I moved a bit further from them but still go there. Best dentist I ever had!

This is an EXCELLENT dental practice. The practice i'd been going to the last couple years was very large and impersonal and I never saw the same dentist or hygienist twice and I always felt like I was being upsold. Was a revolving door of practitioners. I had a tooth bothering me and went to my regular practice. Was told it needed to be extracted. Went to Dr. St. Louis for a second opinion. Many of my family members had been going to him for years and loved him. He examined me and decided extraction was necessary. He thoughtfully described the process and put me at ease. He and his assistant Mike did an amazing job. In less than 30 minutes the tooth was out with zero pain. He even followed up with me a few hours later to see how I was doing. He is amazing and can't recommend enough. Thank you Dr. St. Louis and staff for your personal care and attention.

Just went for a checkup and cleaning after a 4 year period. All electronic, no scraping. In and out in an hour, with x-rays. Painless, amazing service. Post visit anxiety was wasted. Be back in 6 months, eagerly. This Gent is Legit.

Dr. Stephen St. Louis and his staff are outstanding. It is nice to have a dentist and proficient staff to provide excellent service and with only recommended services that need to be done with a responsible price structure. I am a Retired Army COL and have met a host of dentists over the years. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic practice. Back in 2004, Dr St Louis put veneers on my front teeth which were broken when I was young. Since then, I have lived all over the US and overseas, and every time I had my teeth cleaned at a new dentist, they always commented on how they didn't even realize I had veneers because they looked so good! I just had them replaced by Dr St Louis (after 16 years) and they look even better than before! He is knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and answered all 846 of my questions. Michael, the hygienist is really great and I love chatting with Rachel at the front desk too. She is always so willing to help with insurance issues and any questions I have. Excellent practice all around:).

I had a procedure done by Dr. St. Louis here years ago and it was the worst experience I ever had. It ruined my teeth. I do not normally write reviews but I had to share because I am permanently reminded and scarred forever.

II drive from Bethesda and my daughter drives all the way from South Carolina to come to this dentist- the staff is incredibly courteous and very knowledgeable about the cost, insurance and how long any procedures will be. This office is well run and the friendliness of the staff, dental hygienist and the dentist makes me feel reassured that I'm in excellent hands! I'm very grateful!!

Great practice! They treat their patients well and never seem to be trying to sell you on dental work you do not need. Of course, it helps that I try to take good care of my teeth, but I still trust this practice and won't consider anyone else...
