Dr. Harris was born in Illinois and grew up in Columbia, Missouri. He received a degree with high distinction in Music Education from Indiana University before earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville. He went on to complete a post-doctorate hospital general practice residency in Connecticut before establishing his practice in the Albany area. Dr. Harris is a longstanding member of the American Dental Association and a member of the Third District Dental Society. He has been active in charitable pursuits, most recently the Mission of Mercy dental clinic. Dr. Harris became dental-phobic as a child because many of his early dental treatments were performed without the use of anesthesia. As a result, he is sincerely empathetic with his patients and is deeply committed to providing compassionate and comfortable dental care.
Dr. Harris lives in the Voorheesville, NY area with his wife Dolly and two dogs, Tootsie and Moosie. His interests include the arts, walking his dogs in the woods, travel, and an occasional round of golf.
Tammy received her dental hygiene degree from Hudson Valley Community College. She is alsocertified in the administration of local anesthesia. She has enjoyed treating patients in Dr. Harriss practice for a number of years. She particularly enjoys and is committed to helping patients achieve excellent dental health and a beautiful smile. Tammy is happily married with two children and enjoys spending her weekends with her family at their home in Sacandaga Lake.
Jenna attended Hudson Valley Community College, where she earned her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in both CPR and the administration of local anesthesia. She loves working in the field of dentistry and strives to make each patients visit individualized, enjoyable, comfortable, and relaxing. Jenna continued her education with SUNY Empire, and has a Bachelor's degree in Human Services. Her studies prove daily to be monumental in the understanding of how to provide top-notch care to her patients. Her love for learning has led her to continually educate herself in new aspects of dental hygiene and appreciates advancements in the field. On her days off, Jenna writes and records music with her fiance, Brian. The happy couple also enjoy spending time in the great outdoors with their dog, Journey.
Ellie worked for over a decade as a dental assistant before graduating from SUNY Canton as a Licensed Dental Hygienist Certified in Dental Anesthesia in 2008. She hails from Oswego, NY and is enjoying her new dental team and patients as much as we all enjoy her. She is passionate about promoting dental health and healthy smiles with her patients. In her spare time she enjoys golf, exercise, boating, sightseeing and spending time with her family.
Jackie has been in the dental field for over nine years. She is an expanded function Dental Assistant who handles both clinical and clerical work in the office. Jackie has the ability to assist the doctor with procedures, as well as manage your treatment plans, insurance claims, and help you to understand the clinical and financial aspects of your treatment. Her goal is to make your visit to our office the most comfortable and stress-free experience possible. Jackie is a happily married mother of a little boy and three dogs, and resides in New Lebanon, NY. She loves animals, hiking, cooking, and most of all playing with her son Dakota.
