Dr. Walker is a second-generation dentist and native Arizonan who grew up in South Tempe. She carries on the traditions of quality and personalized dental care for her patients. After finishing high school at Corona Del Sol in Tempe, Dr. Walker moved on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She then attended Dental School at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She then completed an advanced education residency at the University of Southern California focusing on full mouth reconstructions and special needs and hospital- based dentistry.
Dr. Walker lives in the East Valley and is closely tied to the community in which she was raised. She enjoys weekends at the soccer field with her husband watching her two kids play. She likes to do yoga, work out at the gym, and listen to natural health podcasts in her spare time.
Practice Manager Paige has been a dental office manager since 2016. She is experienced in dental assisting, and is in the process of earning her degree in Business and Accounting. She is well versed in dental insurance and dental plan benefits. Paige enjoys traveling, new restaurants, the outdoors, and spending time with her Mini Australian Shepherd. Paige is originally from New Hampshire and moved to Arizona in 2017.
Office Administrator Maria is a founding member of our dental practice. She began working with Dr. Walker in 2008 when the office opened, and has been working in the dental field for 15 years. Maria graduated from ASU (GO Devils!) with her B.S. in Biological Sciences. She loves to hike, travel, and spend time with friends and family. Maria is a native of Arizona and grew up in Mesa.
Registered Dental Hygienist Maria is a native Arizonan who grew up in Douglas. She started in the dental field as an assistant and then later went back to school at Phoenix College to earn her dental hygiene degree. She has been in the dental field for over 17 years. Maria has a gentle touch and is very thorough due to her experience in all aspects of dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, being outdoors, walking and site-seeing. She also enjoys house projects and puzzles.
Certified Dental Assistant Irene is native to Arizona. She has four kids and raised them in Chandler. She enjoys watching sports, spending time with her family, reading, and shopping. She keeps herself busy with DIY projects and hands-on projects. Irene graduated Phoenix College as a certified dental assistant, and has been serving the dental community for over 24 years. She enjoys dentistry because can treat patients while using her passion for dentistry.
Dr. Walkers office is located at Downtown Ocotillo in Chandler, Arizona. This charming lakeside community is unlike any other in the valley. The quaint Santa Barbara style architecture is surrounded in lush foliage and winding pathways along the lake. This vibrant community is full of shops and restaurants with intertwined water features and courtyards. The office is conveniently located near Leiden Mitchell Salon and Spa, Sauce, Rock Lobster Sushi and Vinum 55.
Dr. Walkers facility is a state-of-the-art, all digital office with the newest technology. Patient education is facilitated with HD TVs and intra-oral cameras. Every patient enjoys a view of the lake along with a large flatscreen TV during any treatment. Every visitor to the office will be warmly welcomed and treated with extraordinary care.

I cannot believe the experience I just had here. The girl at the front desk needs to be fired. I scheduled a cleaning here and when I walked in for my 11:10 appointment the girl up front said "a cleaning appointment just opened up at 1 if you want to stay?" I was extremely confused because I had scheduled a cleaning so I asked her what my appointment was for. She said it was just an examination. I asked her if they do any appointments that the examinations and cleanings are the same day and she said no it's different for each adult (which is fine) but I wasn't informed this at all. I told her oh okay I just thought I scheduled a cleaning over the phone. All of a sudden she gets an attitude with me and her whole demeanor changes and she says "I'm actually the one who spoke to you over the phone and I informed you that you wouldn't be getting a cleaning today" I know for a fact she didn't tell me that, otherwise I wouldn't have been confused when I arrived for my appointment. I just can't believe she started yelling at me when I was asking a simple question. I decided to cancel my appointment and started crying on my way home. I have a newborn who is on a nursing schedule so I really needed to get in and out for this cleaning and I've been struggling with postpartum depression so I was trying to get out of the house and do something for myself. I just cannot believe that this place employs rude people like that. The last thing I needed was to be sad and depressed over an interaction with the front desk. Don't go here if you're looking for people to treat you with respect.

Disappointed by the first initial call. I don't know who works at the front desk or who the receptionist is that I spoke with over the phone but she was completely rude and sounded like she had better things to do then to talk to me over the phone. I know work can be hard sometimes but you never want to make your patients feel like their call isn't important. I was excited to come here as it is close to my home but I would rather go somewhere else where I am treated respectfully and somewhere a little more cheerful too. Maybe if I would've spoken to somebody a little nicer I would've continue to schedule my appointment.

The staff and Dr Walker are awesome. They go above and beyond their service. I'm saying this wholeheartedly "they are the best". See, I'm 55 and at the age of 17 yrs I had a very bad experience with a dentist and from then I've avoided them at all cost. Years later we are here and in dire need of dental work. I am happy to say, I am following all my appointments with Dr Walker because it's not scary anymore. Kudos to her and her staff!!!!!

I've switched to this dental office after my previous dentist of many years retired. I've only had two visits so far and they have both been very positive. Dr. Walker was very personable and efficient and her staff is welcoming and friendly. My mouth is in pretty good shape so I mostly go for the check-ups and cleanings. I've had two different hygienists and they were both terrific. I would highly recommend the dental practice of Dr. Stephanie Walker DDS

In the past, I've always been fortunate of having a great dentist but being new to the area, I needed a new one. I found Dr. Walker through my insurance, Delta Dental and by doing a local search. From the moment I contacted her office, I was taken care of. From scheduling to billing, everyone in her office is friendly and helpful. The office is very clean, modern, and light and bright. The dental work I needed was performed with precision and professionalism. Dr. Walker and her staff did an excellent job informing me of the required procedure and costs. Dr. Walker and her team are wonderful! The decor of the office is warm, stylish and inviting. I felt very comfortable from the moment I stepped in the office. On the day of my first appointment, the receptionist Maria C and the Office Manager Paige both greeted me by name. My knowledgable hygienist, Maria, answered all of my questions about my gums, teeth and brushing. Finally, when Dr. Walker checked my teeth, she kindly shared information not to discourage me, but to empower me to build better dental habits. I would highly recommend Dr. Walker and her staff due to their exceptional patient care. 5 stars for sure!

Awesome experience as a first time patient here. I live in Phoenix but made it out here because of all the great reviews. I wasn't disappointed at all. A very clean and modern office. Great experience with booking and the reminder system. All the staff were great and Dr Walker was very friendly and welcoming, which is saying something since going to the dentist is usually a pain. Will definitely be a long term patient here.
