In February of 2015, Dr. Schmidt began the process of setting up her dental practice in her hometown. Customization of Suite E at 409 N. Green Avenue began in April of that year. The build-out took several months, but we were able to create a custom, one-of-a-kind atmosphere for our patients. Stephanie R Schmidt DDS was envisioned to bring state-of-the-art dental technology to Purcell in order to provide thegreatest level of comfort. Heated and massaging chairs, Nomad digital radiography, panoramic x-rays, and shot-free procedures are just a few of the services we offer that set us apart for even the most anxious person. We strive to be a warm and inviting place for our patients.

To begin with I'm not a fan of dentists. The first experience I had the staff made certain to calm my fears. The staff is amazing. From Tammy at the desk, fighting insurance companies, to Cassie treating you like your family , each offers a personal touch that is unparalleled. Dr. Schmidt is kind, caring but most importantly an absolute professional and excellent at what she does. I went from being anxious about having my teeth cleaned to having crowns without a concern that I was in the best hands possible. Dr. Schmidt provided so many options concerning my appearance and never tried to upsale. I would recommend this provider to everyone.

Dr. Schmidt has been my dentist for the past 6 years. She and her staff are committed to professionalism, excellence, and providing the highest quality of care to their patients. With Dr. Schmidt I have had Invisalign and dental care through 3 pregnancies. Throughout the Invisalign processes Dr. Schmidt continually reviewed options with me and made sure I was happy with the outcome, always willing to change the plan to fit any concern I had. During pregnancy I appreciated how comfortable Krista, the hygienist, would try to make me while getting my teeth cleaned. She never rushes through, ensuring her patients leave with an exceptional cleaning each time. Dr. Schmidt is always up to date on the best practices and has the highest level of equipment. Her level of knowledge and confidence in her skill quickly puts all apprehensions at ease. Recently my 5 year old and 3 year old had to have multiple cavities filled. I was very concerned about how this would go, afraid that my children who had so far loved visits to Dr. Schmidt would now have the typical "dentist dread." What happened instead was that both children had an amazing experience. Dr. Schmidt and assistant, Cassie, together met each of my children on their level, made sure they understood each detail and step of the procedure, but also made it all fun and imaginative. That is an experience I know we would not have had elsewhere. It is all the extras at Dr. Schmidt's office that set it above the rest.

Thank you Dr. Schimdt and staff! All the staff were amazing, uplifting and encouraging! That was the best hygienist I've ever had and the best teeth cleaning! I loved the new water cleaning system technique used to clean teeth! I loved it! They take Health choice dental and I'm blessed! Dr Schmidt is polite, intelligent, impressive and knowledge tells me I'm in good hands! All of her equipment is brand new technology! So now I'm probably going to stick around OKDOC here in Lexington for the next 8-20 years thanks to Dr. Schmidt & staff!
