As a native of southwest Virginia, Dr. Vlahos attended Virginia Tech (Go HOKIES!) where she earned herBachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise with a minor in Chemistry in 2009. Dr. Vlahosgraduated from Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)in 2013. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency atCarilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where she received advanced training in treating pediatric and medicallycompromised patients, restorative dentistry, periodontal and implant surgery, and removable prosthodontics.
Dr. Vlahos enjoys general dentistry as it allows her to buildup quality relationships with her patients and their families. She appreciates taking time to get to know her patients and their oral health goals. She is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, the VirginiaDental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
When Dr. Vlahos is not practicingdentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their son Brooks and three dogs, Riley, Jeb and Cotton. She can also be foundcooking (and eating) delicious foods, hiking outdoors or working out at Orangetheory Fitness.

Went here for the first time and it was an amazing experience. Everyone I interacted with was extremely nice, especially the front desk employee. Thanks to this simple fact I've found my new dentist!!

Very caring and professional. Answered every question I had and were very informative about my situation. Also helped me by suggesting the best action plan and breaking it down step by step. Was able to be seen within two weeks of calling and work beginning lest than a week after being seen. Definitely made me feel comfortable.

Their office got me in on short notice for a couple visits I needed before hip replacement surgery. Dr Vlahos was very friendly, informative, and professional, as was support staff. Highly recommended.

Stephanie Vlahos, DDS. Her office is equipped with every instrument to provide her with accurate evaluation of dental problems. She has highly capable and friendly staff. She understands every aspect of her business - she knows insurance criteria for patient coverage. She is efficient - a bit of a perfectionist - she has provided crown and fillings referred me to excellent orthodontists and advised how to care for my 66 year old teeth. She considers present and future dental needs. I would recommend her without reservation.

Dr. Vlahos and Abby were both so amazing. I went in for a regular cleaning after admittedly not being to the dentist in 10 years or so and got the news that i needed a deep cleaning due to periodontial disease which i had never heard of so was super shocked and upset. I have anxiety i cant control as well as panic attacks and they were both so understanding and comforting. I ended up have to do what should've been 2 appts in 4 because of my anxiety and they were both so accomodating. I cant express enough how amazing and sincere the both of them are. If you need a great dentist this is the best place to go! Thank both of you so much for getting me through what all i had to get done.

This was my first visit here. Everyone was so courteous and friendly. I had a knee replacement in 2012 and was told I needed to take antibiotics before any dental procedures. I thought after 7 years, I wouldn't need them. The hygienist explained that although that is the ADA recommendation, they must follow the surgeon's directions. So, the receptionist called my surgeon's office and found out that they prescribe antibiotics for life. She found another appointment for me for two days later. They took x-rays and did a cursory exam so my appointment would not be a complete loss. I was very impressed by their professionalism and consideration of my time. I think I will be very happy here!
