Reception Ladies are all very friendly and very helpful. And, Dr.Stemm makes you feel very at ease. As, i'm one that is very nervous to go to the Dentist but, as i've said Dr.Stemm makes your visit more enjoyable. He, also explains step by step what he is going to do for you.

This review is posted 12/15/21, and I've attempted to call over the last two days, and have left messages without any response. When called their phone message says they will be closed for the week of 11/30/?? for system maintenance. Perhaps they have closed for good.

Horrible experience! I went in with a LOT of anxiety and he was told that I was full of anxiety. I asked him to stop doing what he was doing and he tried to keep going. He was very very rude. I have made a complaint on him. He is no better then his father that I also had a bad experience with. I should have known better. The place was very nasty dirty. I wish to god I would have took pictures. If I was you I would not consider this place.

This practice quit taking my insurance on July 1, but did not inform me until AFTER my cleaning was completed. I paid out of pocket for that appointment and a subsequent filling, and they offered me discounts, so I thought great, I can at least get this taken care of and that will be that, even though it drained my HSA for the year. Four weeks later I am still having pain and extreme sensitivity on the tooth that was filled. The technician even drilled into the tooth BELOW the one that was being filled (he said he was smoothing out a previous filling, but then why did I feel the drill going down into my nerve?) which was extremely painful since that area of my mouth had not been numbed. That tooth is now extremely sensitive as well. I called to see if they could get me in to find out what was wrong with the filling, and of course they stated they could see me, but since I "don't have insurance" (I do, they just don't take it anymore), I would have to pay for the appointment. So I'm like, that's it, I'll have to go somewhere else. When I asked if there was paperwork I needed to fill out to send my records elsewhere, the receptionist stated she did not know, and she would have to see what the policy was on whether I could get my records. Bottom line, I'm searching for a new dentist, no idea how long it will take to find a practice who will take my insurance, when I'll be able to get an appointment, and who knows what other costly procedure to get me out of this pain. Don't waste your time going to this place. The only reason I'm giving one star is the dental hygienist was very nice and did a great job both times she cleaned my teeth.

I've been coming here because it's on my insurance. I really enjoy the staff as well as the cool older building. I got my first fillings here and it went great, couldn't feel a thing thanks to some expertly administered anesthetic. Highly recommend!

Do not go to this dentist! My mom had to have teeth pulled. He left some bones and a piece of tooth that has to be surgically removed. She now has to see an oral surgeon. The plate that Dr Stem made her was awful. It was lop sided and so thin on one side that you can see through it. She now has to pay out of pocket to fix the issue because she has no money left in her dental insurance for the year because she used it at Dr Stem. He did not fix the problem, only created more. I would not take my dog to this dentist!!

Dr. Stemm was excellent and explained everything to me in a way I could easily understand. And my teeth look excellent.

Do yourself a favor and go else where. Because Dr. Stemm did not do his job correctly I am now losing a tooth because of the damage. The only thing he did while I was there was drill my tooth then his assistant filled it. They didn't even make sure that my bite lined up properly or that it was sealed correctly.
