Dr. Ana C. Balica graduated from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry, with honors. After graduation, she was invited to take a teaching position as a clinical Assistant Professor, supervising other dental students. She has been privately practicing as a Doctor of Dental Surgery since 1994, with a unique focus in the field of Biological (also known as Holistic) dentistry. Dr. Balica has been the owner of Steinway Natural Dental since 2001, which is the largest Holistic dental center in Queens County, New York.

Dr. Balica is an experienced mercury-free and mercury-safe dentist. She is an accredited member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (www.iaomt.org), which requires advanced technical knowledge as well as documented clinical experience. Very few dentists have earned this special designation. Dr. Balica has also received training from the famous Dr. Hal Huggins, who was a recognized pioneer in the field of biocompatible dental materials and Holistic techniques.
