Laura L. Steinberg, D.D.S. is a California native. She received her bachelors degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz and her dental degree at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Later she completed a two-year hospital dental residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Dr. Steinberg has been treating patients in the Greensboro area since July 1996. She was formerly on the surgical staff at Moses Cone Health System. Dr. Steinberg was elected president of the Guilford County Dental Society in 2003 and is an alumnus of the L.D. Pankey Institute Advanced Education Center. In 2007, she was one of 2% of dentists in the country to obtain her Masters with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Steinberg is an active member of the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the L. D. Pankey Institute. She is involved with local dental study clubs as well.
Her motto is, We love to make you smile. As a patient, you can feel it when you step into her office, and you know it when you sit down with her or any member of our team. Dr. Steinbergs dedication to understanding your current oral health and ability to listen to your dental goals to make them into a reality extends from her new patients, to those of several years. She and her team are just as dedicated to the treatment and prevention of decay and periodontal disease to give you the ability to make your mouth healthy, and to serve as a foundation for any esthetic dental needs you may have.
Dr. Steinberg is active within her community, at her church and in the life of her son, Cal, born in 2002. She has volunteered for the Christinas Smile mobile dental clinic since 1994, and has participated in the Womens Only 5k Walk & Run multiple times, since 1996. The proceeds from the Womens Only 5k Walk & Run provide screening mammograms for women who cant afford them. She is an active volunteer with Christ United Methodist Church.
Dr. Steinberg and her husband, Ken Wilhelm, were married in 1997 and reside in Greensboros historical area. They both enjoy exercise, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering in the community. When Dr. Steinberg is not at the office, she also enjoys scrapbooking, writing, reading, gardening, hiking and biking.
Debbie Pharr, Office Manager, joined our team in 2017 with 22 years of experience in the field. She is a graduate of the Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine Dental Assisting program where she earned her CDA II certificate in 1994. She has held positions in dentistry as both clinical assistant and front office coordinator so you will find her all over our office! Debbie brings so much dental experience to our office and loves all aspects of dentistry. Whether she is helping patients in the treatment rooms or in the business office her talents are a huge benefit to our practice. Debbie has dedicated her life to helping others achieve a beautiful smile and finds it very rewarding.
Debbie and her husband Brad got married in 1994 and they were blessed with their beautiful daughter Hannah in 2004. Debbie enjoys quality family time and stays very busy as the children's ministry director at their church.
Kim Broadhurst, Dental Assistant, has cared for patients in our practice since 1999. She has traveled across the US and overseas. Kim completed the dental assisting program at FTCC in Fayetteville North Carolina. She also volunteered for 6 months for The Red Cross on Pope Air Force Base to help with the influx of airman returning home from Operation Desert Storm. She was awarded a Certificate of Achievement and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Department of the Air Force.
'Kimmie' as we call her, is gentle, warm, compassionate and kind. She cares about people and is very talented and dedicated to her family, team and her patients. When you don 't find her in the office she enjoys spending quality time with her son Nick, Grandson Sawyer, and her dog Pixie.

What a wonderful embracing first appointment in this dental office. Staff were professional courteous and entrusting I did get a little chilly during procedures. Didn't want to add to potential contamination given current pandemic so didn't ask to put coat over lap which would have helped. Thank you Dr Steinberg and to your entire team
