First, upon entering it was a line to the door. Horrible odor. Standing room only. Appt for my son was at 11:00a @ 1:30p 3D scan and then took him to exam room. Waited in surgery room w/assistants who were setting up for procedure a total of 30 min. Suture and hem left on floor from prior patient. (Mentioned that to staff, they apologized). Son was finished with surgery 1 tooth exposure at 2:32p from 11a Appt. It felt like a factory vs dentistry. Dr looked overbooked, stressed so was staff especially front desk. This was an Ortho referral. Waiting room chairs are worn, too low to ground. Needs to replaced. There needs to be a better flow in place. Do not recommend!

I agree with the two reviews below mine. My husband had his wisdom teeth removed in 2020 we paid what we were instructed to pay before they would complete the removal. Not to mention they broke off part of his tooth during the extraction. Dentist is rough and rude. I called to check on why we received a bill when we paid what we were told to prior to the removal and told me insurance didn't may for the anesthesia. We knew that which is why we paid 1,000 before hand. Would not recommend anyone to visit here! Also their customer service is ridiculous!

My son and daughter had their wisdom teeth removed here. First, my daughter had to wait 3 1/2 hours to be seen. I told them my daughter had ITP which is a problem with her platelets and her blood clotting. The surgeon didn't seem very concerned about it, pull two of her wisdom teeth and cut the other two out. Sent her home with ibuprofen (which she can't take bc of the ITP). It took her forever to stop bleeding. Two days later my son went to get his out. He didn't wait as long but they sent him home. He was bleeding horribly. He was home not even 30 mins and was bleeding so bad it was pouring down his chest. He had to go back in. They wouldn't give him anything for pain and he was crying and begging for something for pain. They had to pack the sockets and stitch them. All while he was awake and in excruciating pain. Then sent him home again with nothing to help the pain. I felt like in both cases they were so quick to get them out that they didn't take time to address the issues.

is there lower than 1 star? when I called to ask a question around my bill I got a nice lady that apologized and promised to send me the explanation, done! NO. 30 seconds after, the manager of billing called me, he didn't call to listen - she called to tell me I'm wrong. I'm trying to explain - she is talking over me and slowly so I will understand better, so I listen, let her finish, then start explaining - boom, again talking over me I finally got a chance to complete my explanation, she then starts telling me stories that are not even close to what I said from here to there- she ended up hanging up the phone on me. Google review is to reflect the entire experience and my experience, bottom line, was bad not because of the first lady I spoke to, she solved my problem, but because of the other lady that I'm telling you - called to fight me... I do not recommend.

Waited 4 hrs for a consultation on implants, the lobby was so packed it was amazing had to be about 30-40 people there, talk about trying to squeeze every dollar out of the day by seeing as many patients as humanly possibe, only the 1 Dentist the namesake of the practice working, other issues but ill leave it at that.

If I could rate this Dentist at a zero, I would, my 72-year-old mother just went in to have a tooth extracted and was treated abusively by the Dr. She is on Coumadin, and he had no concern for her heart condition as he showed by starting nitrous oxide and then immediately injecting her jaw with the sedative before she even had time for the area to get numb. Not only was she abused physically, but then they tried to get her to sign off on $7K worth of dental work that they felt she needed before she left the office!!! Total Elder Abusers!!!! Stay away!!!

Worst medical professional have ever met in my entire life. On top of complications from wisdom tooth removal when I returned to have them addressed he was cold nasty threatening and over all made me feel unsafe. This man should not even have a medical license. He is a butcher. There is nothing g redeeming about him or his practice.

The receptionist was professional and friendly. The assistant that escorted my son and I back was nice. I expressed my concern regarding my son's fear due to an early childhood experience related to a papoose board. Stefan entered the room seeming to be in a hurry. My son was afraid to get the needle for an i.v. So we decided to try the other option that we were given which was nitrous oxide and numbing. Stefan told my son he would have to insert eight needles really deep into his gum and asked his assistant to pull an image up. He glanced over the diagram and then told me he wasn't gonna go over the whole process as to why he would use so many needles. My son was crying and asked to use the restroom. When my son left he told me that he could refer him to UNC but due to his coverage it would likely take two years before he would be seen. He continued by describing how someone would have to hold his head down while someone else forces the mask onto his face (ludicrous). Finally, he said that he could always use the papoose board. I knew he was a maniac when he came in and was certain he was a monster when we left...his intent was to torture and terrify my child....I hope he gets help before he traumatizes, endangers, or hurts anymore children...he doesn't get one star in my book...I had to pick one to post....he is a nightmare

Great oral surgeon. Shady billing practices. Has contracted rates with your insurance for procedures. If insurance does not cover expense they CHOOSE not to honor the contracted rate and charge usual and customary fee. For me that was the difference between $47 and $288 . It was explained to me that in the state of NC this was legal and they were within their rights. Have never had a dentist or doctor do this before and think it says alot about the practice- bottom line is maximize the $ collected . Will find a new oral surgeon for remain8bg family members

I would not use him for anything. We went to have an evaluation done regarding TMJ for my daughter. Without reading the chart he assumed we were there for wisdom teeth and began telling us what to do and we would schedule the surgery. Wrong answer. I see that there was a response. Unfortunately, there was no discussion at the time of the appointment regarding the TMJ, just a discussion about getting the wisdom teeth removed. No other suggestions made. No explanation.
