With over two decades in his field, Dr. Steele understands the importance of communicating with his patients and having a positive and good chairside manner. He takes the time to thoroughly explain problems that his patients are facing and answer any questions or concerns that they may have as well as his treatment recommendations. This helps his patients feel confidence and sure about the care that theyre receiving, helping create a less anxiety-inducing experience overall.
When he was a small child, Dr. Steele actually wanted to be a veterinarian. However, once he reached his college years, he had his wisdom teeth extracted by an oral surgeon, who invited him to watch some of his more difficult surgeries because of Dr. Steeles current position as a phlebotomist at the same hospital. After seeing the surgeon finally fix a patients jaws and teeth so that they aligned perfectly and functioned properly, Dr. Steele was 100% sold on becoming an oral surgeon himself.
After graduating from UTA, Dr. Steele entered dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry. At that time, dental implants were just beginning to make their way into the field of dentistry, but he was already fascinated by them! Following the completion of his dental doctorate, he underwent his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency, where he focused on full-scope procedures like jaw surgery, cosmetic facial surgery, and procedures involving implants.
Today, Dr. Steele is proud to have been the first oral surgeon's office in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to have used the YOMI dental implant robot! Robotically guided dental implant surgery allows his team to place dental implants in a safer, more comfortable, and more predictable way. He is also currently a member of the following organizations:
Kathys dental career spans almost 50 amazing years, and she couldnt ask for a better oral surgery office to call home than ours! She loves seeing the incredible joy on our patients faces following their procedures, especially when they use the amazing YOMI dental implant robot to place implants faster and more precisely. She is currently a proud member of the American Academy of Dental Office Managers.
When she isnt busy at the oral surgery office, Lynn enjoys volunteering for a local dog rescue, watching the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Huskies, playing golf, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Heathers dental career covers 35+ years so far, and she always looks forward to the wonderful interactions she has with patients here at our oral surgery office. The team members feel just like family, and Dr. Steele is truly amazing in her eyes!
At home, Heather has a wonderful husband and two stepchildren. Shes also the proud mom of a beautiful daughter and the grandmother of a special little granddaughter! In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, hunting, cooking, and (of course) being with loved ones.
A Grand Prairie native, Monica has been a part of the oral healthcare world for over a decade now. As one of our assistants, she works hard to provide plenty of care and comfort to patients, helping them overcome their fears in the treatment chair.
Monicas happy home consists of her son, her daughter, her fur-baby named Jarvis, and her grandmother. When she isnt busy caring for teeth, she loves serving her community, reading, writing poetry, and strength-training. She even has a small juice business on the side!
