The entire staff at Steckler Pediatric Dentistry is committed to maintaining the highest level of patient care every day. Our staff is excited to treat infants, toddlers, and small children every day within the Lexington community. Dr. Danny Steckler completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology/Business at the University of Kentucky in 2001. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2006 and completed post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Kentucky in 2008. Dr. Steckler is Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of numerous organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Steckler also served as the Dental Director and Board Member for the Refuge Medical and Dental Clinic.
He has been a proud member of the Lexington community for 20+ years. Dr. Steckler and his wife Rachel have two daughters, Dylan and Ruby. He enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats.
Jessica is our Clinic Coordinator and has been with Steckler Pediatric Dentistry for over 10 years. She keeps things running smoothly in the clinic area and is a great team leader. Jessicas love for children makes her a great asset to our office. She is married to Ryan and they have a sweet, beautiful daughter, Josie, who keeps them very busy.
Heather is our smiling face at the check in desk and loves interacting with all the children! She is married to Chad and they have three children, Baylee, Braxton and Blake! She enjoys spending time with her family and a lot of that time is at the ballpark with her boys!
We welcomed Nikia to our office in July 2013. She is an expanded duty dental assistant. Her ability to work well with children makes her a great asset to our office. She currently lives in Paris, KY with her beautiful daughter, NaSean. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Ali has been working in dentistry for 15 years. She moved to Kentucky 7 years ago from Georgia where she worked at a pediatric dentist office for 9 years. After being in general dentistry for 6 years, she realized she missed working with kids. Ive been at Dr. Stecklers office almost a year now and love where I am at! Ali and her husband, Marty, have 4 beautiful children. She enjoys being outside, hiking and camping.
Holly started with our team in June 2021, after recently relocating from Indianapolis. She has been an expanded duties dental assistant since 2013 and we are so pleased to have her on our team. She loves to be with family, including her beautiful daughter, Emory.
Annah has been an expanded duties dental assistant since 2018 and joined our team in May 2021. Besides working alongside our team, her favorite part of her job is interacting with children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family including her two rabbits.
Heather is a dental hygienist and has been with Steckler Pediatric Dentistry for 8 years. She enjoys working with the team and working with kids. Her contagious smile is such an asset to this office. She has two wonderful kids, Ashley and Cole.

This place came highly recommend to my mom years ago back in the Dr. Smith days. I have a special needs sister and she was always afraid of the dentist. After a few visits here she was no longer afraid. We all continue as patients here until my brother and I aged out. But my sister was able to keep going even though she was no longer pediatric age. She is now 48 and goes to see Dr Steckler every 6 months! I think is safe to say that she is their oldest patient! Nothing but great things to say about Steckler Pediatric Dentistry!

Dr. Steckler and his staff do a great job making my child feel safe and comfortable. Going to the dentist is really anxiety provoking for him, and he has been willing to get in the chair and let Dr. Steckler look in his mouth. I attribute that to the great energy that is at the clinic.

This was our second visit, it was even better than the first. They had a Halloween Party with face painting and treats today. My kids love the different flavors of toothpaste and I love how friendly and efficient they are!

Such a special place for kids to learn to love going to the dentist. Amazing staff who all deserve spots in heaven for being so kind, patient and sweet to every kiddo who passes through!! Dr. Steckler continues to provide Lexington and Central KY with a warm and inviting pediatric dental practice in the very spot that my husband and I grew up going to as children. I only wish I could still pick a toy out after our son's appointment :)
