Each patient seeks treatment for a different reason and handles it in a different way. My goal is to ensure every person is informed, engaged, and actively involved in their treatment. By working together, we are able to achieve not only an incredible smile, but my patient also enjoys their orthodontic experience!
I appreciate the diversity of my days and the many people I spend time with. While they are here because they share a desire to improve their smile, each brings a unique set of experiences and expectations to the office. It is a joy to get to know my patients, personally, and to share the excitement of the orthodontic journey with them.
In addition to completing the Invisalign masters course, I have taken courses in presenting treatment plans, means of treating surgical cases, and different early treatment techniques. I also take courses on new and emerging technologies and techniques, learning different approaches to treat similar cases. Additionally, I participate in several multi-disciplinary study clubs in order to perfect interspecialty treatments to provide the best outcome for patients.
I grew up in Long Island and have lived in Manhattan for the last 15 years. My life is shared with my Pug, who enjoys taking me for walks around the city. I make time to go to the gym, spend hours with friends, and get to the beach as often as possible.
I am passionate about travel, learning and experiencing new things, and meeting new people. I am just as passionate about quality time with friends and family, especially my mother and two brothers, and feel fortunate to practice orthodontics alongside my father.
After practicing orthodontics for over 35 years, I still look forward to coming to work each morning. Every day, each patient, and all interactions are unique: this keeps me engaged and excited about what I do and I think that happiness is evident in my interactions with patients.
I believe every patient deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, to be heard and encouraged to be part of their treatment experience. To that end, we have designed the practice with private rooms and the patient has our undivided attention during their visits.
One of the most fascinating aspects of orthodontics, I find, is how the specialty is constantly advancing. Research leads to new techniques, technologies, and materials, improving treatment, efficiency, and results.
Through continuing education, I stay at the forefront of the latest developments, continually learning and expanding my abilities. Recently I have focused on Invisalign, as well as multidisciplinary cases involving surgery and major restorations. I am particularly interested in treating complex cases, achieving amazing results that go beyond what was expected or deemed possible.
Ive lived in Nassau County my whole life. Family is important to me: being with my wife, three children, granddaughter, and two granddogs is always a priority. Of course, I find time to enjoy baseball and football games, too.

After consulting with several orthodontists in the city, Dr. Stearn came up with the best plan. She is very patient and thorough with my questions, my teeth got straightened a lot just in a few months. I can't wait to see the final result!

I've been coming here for about two years and everything about the experience has been great. I have a pretty complicated case that they took on, which is impressive in itself. The staff is extremely friendly and I love catching up with them during every office visit. They are very accommodating and work with my travel schedule. Everything is clean and they have in-office dental hygiene supplies. Communicating and rescheduling appointments is very easy as you can call or text them. After having many bad experiences with other dental and orthodontic offices, it's great to have one that I fully trust with my orthodontic needs. I truly feel my health and dental expectations are in their best interest.

Dr. Stearn is the best, the office is brand new and very clean. They reviewed my options clearly and helped explain the differences of their treatment plans. I just finished my Invisalign and my teeth are very straight and it only took 1 year! They were extremely accommodating looking forward to bringing my kids!

Rude and arrogant doctor. Would not recommendz suspicious regarding the other reviews from the "customers." Has made some very rude racist comments. Don't bother going here if you're a person of color.

I'm so glad I came here. I spent a while researching places I could go to get braces. When I found Stearn Orthodontics on zocdoc, the reviews were great so I decided to go in for a consultation. Once I met Dr. Lindsay I knew she was the right choice, she was kind, informative and made me feel comfortable so I started my journey that day! I'm now 8 months in and I couldn't be happier with my experience and results so far! When I first started I had a hard time adjusting to the new feeling and my brackets came off a few times but everyone in the office was so kind when I came in to get them fixed. They never made me feel embarrassed and just supported me! They really offer all you could ever ask for when making such a time and financial investment. Highly recommend!

I came to see Dr. Stearn at his Brooklyn office with extremely crooked teeth in my bottom jaw, a crossbite and underbite. I saw 2 different dentists prior that only recommended surgery, which I was afraid to go that route. I found Dr. Stearn online and I'm so happy I made that appointment. He was very kind, attentive, honest and knowledgeable in what was happening with my teeth/bite. His staff were also great. Surgery wasn't the only alternative he explained in my case. My teeth are now almost completely straight after a few months of treatment. I'm excited to see my final results although i'm already so happy with the way they look now, however Dr. Stearn says he 'wants my teeth straight' lol .. I highly recommend this practice to anyone.

The staff is friendly, the office is clean (with state of the art equipment), and the results have been incredible so far. If you have the money and will responsibly and consistently wear your aligners, I say don't wait! You will love your new smile.

Being a second time of getting braces at no ones fault but my own( forgot to wear my retinas as told by the dentist ) , I would have to say this is the best place to go to. Not only are they super nice they also make there patients feel comfortable.
