Richard Witty grew up in Laurel, MS. He attended the University of Florida and University of Southern Mississippi for his undergraduate education. He then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center for a masters degree in Biomedical Sciences and then his dental degree from the School of Dentistry. Dr. Witty completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he received advanced training in: general dentistry, the placement and restoration of implants, bone grafting, advanced periodontal treatment, root canal treatment, surgical extractions of wisdom teeth, and IV conscious sedation.
Dr. Witty and his wife Jaime moved to Steamboat Springs in 2015. They are very proud to call Steamboat their home and stay active in the community. Dr. Witty and his wife had their first child Charlotte in 2018. You can find Dr. Witty on the slopes skiing, playing golf, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and fly fishing.
Jaime Witty grew up in Gulfport, MS. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi and obtained her degree in Biological Sciences. She later attended Mississippi College for her Master of Science in Medicine Degree. She and Richard moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2014 and then to Steamboat Springs in 2015. She practiced medicine as a Physician Assistant in Mississippi, Nevada, and Colorado prior to joining Richard and his team at Steamboat Advanced Dentistry & Implant Center.
Jaime, Richard, and their daughter Charlotte have two cocker spaniels, Monty and Millie, that love Steamboat just as much as they do. On the weekends, you can find Jaime and Richard mountain biking, camping, hiking with their dogs, or skiing, depending on the season.

Dr. Witty is professional and extremely detail oriented. He walked me through the options to help me make the best decision to repair broken teeth from an old injury, and then did a great and thorough job creating composite veneers, which look great. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Best Dental experience in 40 years! Jaimie is so sweet & caring! Sorrel is very understanding, thoughtful & generous! Dr. Witty is kind, gentile, precise, & very generous! Chloe is the best assistant: very sweet, funny, & enthusiastic! I loved the new technology they had to keep my mouth open for 4 hours with auto saliva suction & tongue depressor! Dr. Witty has been my dentist for many years now. On this visit it was to replace a crown and fix a crack in one of my teeth. He is incredibly talented and did an amazing job I like it that he's always one step ahead of all the new and advanced treatment methods. The staff are attentive, kind and professional they always make me feel comfortable as soon as I arrive.

I took my two kids in for a cleaning. Front staff was friendly, as always. The Technician doing the cleaning was friendly and efficient. Both kids had a consultation with the Dentist who was also friendly and efficient - much appreciated when dealing with kids' appointments! Thank you to all!

Moved from "the big city" to Steamboat, and the folks at Dr. Witty's practice are by far the best I've ever had. From the receptionist, to the hygienist, and the Doc himself, all were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, ensuring I was comfortable and informed.
