We plan to keep our single location in Westerville Ohio, to service patients in the Columbus area and beyond. Yes, we have plenty of patients that are out of state, as far as Alaska, that come back to us because of the honesty, trust and quality we deliver. Dr. Heidi is a passionate professional who will spend countless hours on unique cases, or obsessover perfection making sure you are always happy with the smile you want.
In addition to being passionate about Dentistry, we are also a group that gives back to our community. By sponsoring various schools, activities, and charities, we believe our future is investing in our neighbors.
Dr. Heidi grew up in the Columbus areaand graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School in 1999. She received her BA in computer science from St. Louis University in 2003 and receivedher Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University in 2007.
While in dental school, she met and married her husbandAndrew. Andrew works for a software company doing computer mapping, and loves it! You'll often find him in the office talking about maps and Geographic Information Systems with patients and anyone who will listen.
After graduating from dental school, Heidi and Andrew relocated to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Dr. Heidi began her career working in a pediatric public health clinic just north of Seattle in Everett, WA.
After 2 years she left the public health clinic and joined a private practice in a suburb of Seattle, calledSammamish,for the next five years. During that time she was named a Top Dentist by her peers in the Seattle area, and has also been named to this honor most recently in Columbus. Over those 7 years in Seattle, life changed significantly.They added two beautiful kids and a dog to their family. While life was great out west, Dr. Heidi wanted her kids to grow up near the family and friends she missed back home in Ohio.
Dr. Heidi had kept in touchwith Dr. Brad Fultonover the years and she knew this would be a perfect place for her.Being a patient of his since she was 6, it was too amazing of an opportunity to pass up.Dr. Heidi came into the practice in the Spring of 2014 and hit the ground running.It has been the perfect environment that she has wanted in a dental office, which is a family practice with a personal feel.Dr. Brad retired in 2018 but frequently pops in for visits. Our practice continues to grow and follow in his foot steps. We have remained the quality practice he built that welcomes each patient as family.
After her formal dental education, she continuesto grow as a professional by attending many continuing education courses. She currentlybelongs to Spectrum Dental Society, to helpkeep her up to date on the most recent dental advances. They provide her with not only courses but a forum to connect with othergeneral dentists and specialists in order to gain from each other's experience.

My husband and I both love Stauffer Family Dental! They're efficient and knowledgeable. All staff are very kind. Dr Stauffer goes above and beyond to help her patients, but makes appropriate referrals out when necessary (like when my wire retainer keeps breaking off).

Not many people can say they have a good time at their Dentist but for me it's always fun, informative and efficient. Wouldn't want to have any other Dentist!!

In my teens I had a series of painful dental nightmares and had been terrified to return to the dentist. After I broke a tooth, I met one of the Stauffer family dental assistants and she convinced me to get back in the chair. She even helped me make the appointment. When I arrived im pretty sure I sobbed in the parking lot. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted and the seating area was clean and inviting. Then they brought me back for X-rays and a consult. They were kind and gentle even in introductions and made me so very comfortable. When I came back to start the process someone even held my hand when they administered my novocaine, gave me headphones to drown out the drill sounds, and checked in periodically to make sure i was doing ok. Everything was communicated as it happened and by my third visit I ditched the headphones. It's now been 7 years. I recommend EVERYONE to this office and I will never go any where else. Thank you Stauffer Family Dental for giving me back my smile!!!

I am so glad I found Stauffer Family Dental! Always a great experience. I like that I have the same dental hygienist when I go as she gets to know me and more importantly my teeth! Everyone is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you!

** update April 2022 ** Another great appointment with Lauren and Dr Heidi. Going to the dentist is not on the top of the list for some people, but the entire staff makes you feel comfortable so you know you are in good hands. I feel very comforable going to Dr. Heidi's office knowing they treat everyone so well. ---------------------- Always good to see Dr. Heidi and her staff. Have been going there since Brad retired and the transition was seamless. They are always friendly and professional.

I've been to a lot of dentists, but Stauffer Family Dental is by far the best. They are thorough, and frankly, just fun. My hygienist, Lauren, is exceptional, and so is Doctor Heidi. Dental work isn't top on my list for a fun afternoon, but everyone in their office makes it the best that it can be. And they play great music too

They did a great job on my crown. Very little pain afterwards. Just needs a tiny bit of adjustment and got me in asap. Every time I visit, they are friendly and professional
