Dr. Randy Stauffer was born and raised in Elkhart County. He graduated from Concord High School and then completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University, graduating with a degree in Chemistry in 1991. He earned his DDS degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1995.
Dr. Stauffer purchased his practice that is now called Stauffer Dental Associates in 1996. It has been providing the families of Elkhart and the surrounding areas with a standing tradition of excellence in dental care for many years. Dr. Stauffer and his team look forward to enriching the beauty in your smile for years to come!

About being a dentist, Dr. Stauffer says: 'I really enjoy being a dentist. It 's a privilege for me to have anyone place their dental healthcare needs in my hands, and its a responsibility I take very seriously. We may very well be in the golden age of dentistry, as dental materials, products, and techniques are ever changing and improving. I believe in offering my patients the latest and greatest of these services. In order to do so, I pursue extensive continuing education. During my career I have traveled around the country to learn from the brightest minds in dentistry, and then I bring what I learn back to Elkhart so I might extend that advanced care to my patients. I look forward to serving you and your family in any way that I can.
Dr. Stauffer is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Indiana Dental Association (IDA), the North Central Dental Society, and the Elkhart County Dental Society. Additionally, he and his family are active in the community and the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Dr. Stauffer is married with three daughters. He loves spending time with his family, and his other personal hobbies include watching and playing most sports. He is an avid golfer. Dr. Stauffer looks forward to getting to know you and your family, too!
Our goal is to help our patients achieve their highest level of oral health. The path to achieving this goal will be different for each individual, but will be paved on a sound foundation of patient education provided by our staff. By thoroughly educating our patients on their oral health, we will be best able to guide them to their goal of optimal health.
We hope that by providing the best quality dental care possible in the safest, most comfortable fashion, we will develop a family of enthusiastic and appreciative patients who will function on a higher level of health. We want all of our patients to feel comfortable referring their friends, families, or co-workers for the same quality care they receive.

I noticed an unexpected loose tooth. I stopped by the office to make an appointment for a later day and was able to get in to see Dr. Stauffer right away. Got set up for a follow up appointment to address further treatment.

Dr. Stauffer is absolutely Wonderful! His Associates are Great & even his Receptionist - She is Fantastic! DR. STAUFFER is a busy guy, yet he is dedicated to each patient. He makes sure to Fully Explain what needs to be done, what your options are, & answers Any & All questions; even if it's the simplest or an obvious answer, he takes the time to listen, hear you, & provide all your answers before walking away. He has such a pleasant personality, there is an instant comfort when talking with him. I wish I would have gotten the HYGIENIST's name who I was with (she's blonde & has the first chair when walking into the back area). She was very nice, soft spoken, & was absolutely great. She stayed focused & on task, yet I could tell she was mindful of the work she was doing - nothing was rushed through. She did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Lastly, the Receptionist. I'm unsure how her name is spelled, but it's beautiful & I don't want to butcher it publicly. She's the Best; very informative, helpful, & clear. Whatever questions you may have she is going to answer them & if it's something she doesn't know, she will get the answer for you. So, if you have a concern about anything, like information about payments, insurance, or have a scheduling issue, she is the one to call. I think rhe hygienist must have nor felt good or had a personal problem as she didn't speak to me. At the end of the appointment, she just walked to the other side of the partition and waited holding my little bag....without speaking. It was awkward to say the least. Otherwise, everything was fine.

We just started procedures on another crown today. As always, Dr Stauffer did a wonderful job. He is as pain free as possible. I can't say enough good for Dr and his staff. I am not afraid to go to his office. I can't say the same thing about Dentists I have been to in the past.

Had a tooth come loose over the weekend. Was able to get fit in Monday morning to get the problem solved. Had to get the tooth extracted and the process for an implant started. Fast, professional and virtually painless. Great service. I was fortunate to get it looked at so quickly.
