Established in 2021, Staton Family Dentistry is a general dentistry practice located in Blairsville, GA. Formally known as Ronnie Dyer, DMD PC which has been providing dental care services to Blairsville and the surrounding communities for over 30 years. Open Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, we are equipped to provide your family with comprehensive and emergency treatment for various dental conditions and treatments.

Dr. Trevor Staton was born and raised in Hayesville, North Carolina, he is blessed to have the opportunity to serve patients in the area he has always known as home. He earned his doctoral degree from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Georgia Dental Society, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Academy of General Dentists and is an Albert Schweitzer Fellow for Life. He has experience working with a group dental practice in Franklin, NC and has also worked with the Clay County Public Health Dental Clinic. Dr. Staton enjoys kayaking, reading, hunting, and fishing in his spare time. He is happily married to his wife Sarah. They have a spoiled dog named Tucker, and they look forward to growing their family.
Dr. Ronnie Dyer is a life long resident of Hiawassee, GA. He attened the Towns County School System, where he graduated. After graduating from Towns County High School he attened Young Harris College for his undergradute degree. After completing his undergradute studies Dr. Dyer attended Mercer University School of Pharmacy. Upon completing his Pharmacy degree Dr. Dyer decided to attend the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Dr. Dyer returned to Blairsville, GA to open his own practice in 1984. Dr. Dyer has been married to his wife Kay Dyer for 36 years. They have 5 children and 8 grandchildren together. When Dr. Dyer is not at the office caring for his patients, you will find him working on his farm. Some things Dr. Dyer enjoys most is reading and spending time with his loving family. Dr. Dyer is known around the office as the jokester and is always keeping everyone smiling. Dr. Dyer is loved by all of his patients and is known for the compassion and kindness he shows his patients. Dr. Dyer truly treats his patients like his own family. Since the transition of selling his practice to Dr. Staton, he wishes to continue to bring the best dental care to his community.

I recently had a root canal and an extraction done with Dr Staton and have never had a better experience. He was very professional and kind along with all his staff. He listened to everything I was worried about and I literally had almost no pain afterwards. I couldn't believe it. They are the best dental practice I have ever been to.

I just simply advise against this. The staff is horrible and the owner/ main dentist is worse. You can make your own choice on how feel about this place. I recommend staying away from this place and finding anywhere but here.

Dr. Station and his staff, provides caring , thorough, professional care for every appointment. He is gentle and never makes me feel rushed. He listens to all of my concerns with patience. Getting a partial, I was so unsure of the best type for me. He went over all the pros and cons for each type of material used with a partial bridge; therefore allowing me to make a informed decision. I feel blessed to have him and his staff to fulfill my dentistry needs!

Great experience with my "emergency", re-fitting of a detached crowned molar. Dr. Staton was everything I could expect from Dr. Dyer. Both Doctors are meticulous in their approach to providing you the best, most current techniques and available dental practice technology, while ensuring that any procedure is anxiety free. They have removed any concern I had about visiting a dentist. I highly recommend them.

Unmatched talent, care, comfort, and professionalism. The entire staff at this practice are amazing. I have never been able to be numbed for a dental procedure in 47 years, but Dr. Staton did a technique on me that worked!! It was amazing to have work done without being in constant horrific pain. I had never even been aware this was possible. They have been able to fit me in for emergency visits, and have been very accommodating with scheduling. The practice is impeccably clean with state of the art equipment and a highly trained and friendly staff. This team is always dedicated and hardworking for their patients. Especially coming out of a worldwide pandemic that has caused understandably longer wait times due to closing of practices and a higher than normal amount of people seeking care. I would never even consider going anywhere else for care.

Word of caution about this practice. They are VERY difficult to get ahold of. After multiple attempts, and despite their website advertising that they welome new patients, the earliest they would give me an appointment was 4 months away. And they're only open 4 days a week.
