Dr. Jason Hecht, the son of Dr. Alex Hecht, graduated from the same dental school as his father, New York University College of Dentistry, just over 30 years after him. Growing up with such a highly respected practitioner in the field as his father, Dr. Jason Hecht was inspired to follow in his footsteps. During his time at school, the two of them enjoyed discussing the many changes in the schools curriculum that have occurred over the years, and the incredible advances in technology.

He was a founding member of the schools implant study club, in which he had a bountiful opportunity to learn from the worlds leading experts in implant dentistry; doctors who volunteered their time to teach, just because they loved to. Dr. Hecht also volunteered in some of the schools post-doctoral education programs, where he gained hands-on-experience in advanced implant placement and treatment, a feat rarely experienced by doctors before graduating, if not ever.

Dr. Jason Hecht decided that additional training after dental school would benefit his patients, and he completed a one year dental residency at the Staten Island University Hospital Dental Clinic. There he gained indispensable experience in treating patients with various medical conditions, and in treating innumerable dental emergencies. His experience there furthered his expertise in general dentistry, cosmetic bonding, one visit root canals, and Invisalign (invisible braces).

Sherri is a very dedicated and caring dental hygienist with over 20 years experience at Dr. Hechts office.
