Starts With A Smile Inc. is a501 (c)(3) certifiednot-for-profit organization dedicated topreventing oraldisease in vulnerable and underserved populations.Oral health is an integral part of our overall health. Current research shows that improper dentalpractices can lead to an array of conditions spanning from tooth loss and gum disease to serious cardiovascular conditions, such as heart disease, stroke, and even cancer. Starts With A Smile believes that oral health promotion and disease prevention are essential to any strategies aimed to improving access to care.
In order to promote our mission, we have successfully organized a number of donation drives within the Middlesex community. We are currently expanding our outreach efforts. With our growth, we are thrilled to bring more drives, and therefore more access to basic oral health products, to an ever-growing number of people.
We continue to develop relationships with local dentists and dental offices, in order to create a strong network among those who dedicate their efforts for a common cause. We also look to combine our efforts with other non-profits to maximize our impact.
Earned her B.S. in both Integrative Neuroscience and Philosophy from Binghamton University. She is in the processof receivingher Masters in Public Health at SUNY Downstate School of Public Health. As a future dentist, she has made it her mission to make oral health accessible to all populations.
Earned his M.A. in Developmental Psychology and B.A. in Psychology and Global Health from Boston College. He strives to be globally minded and improve public health through spearheading campaigns, volunteerism and research. He is currently a Research Associate at New England Research Institutes.
Earned her B.A. in Political Science and minor in Middle Eastern Studies from Syracuse University. She is currently the Grants and Data Coordinator at The Children's Room in Arlington, MA. In addition to contributing her efforts to providing access to oral care for all, she works towards eradicating poverty and global sustainable development goals.
Earned his B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Boston College in 2016. He currently works at the Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center. He is committed to serving disadvantaged populations and improving the health outcomes of those most in need.
Earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Binghamton University. He is currently a teacher at the award-winning Russian School of Mathematics in Acton, MA. He is passionate about helping others and has been involved in the Children of Sderot Project efforts.
Earned her B.A. in accounting from Binghamton University. She currently is an auditor at PWC in Manhattan. She is passionate about public service, constantly volunteering her time to those less fortunate.
