He earned his residency specialty in Periodontics. He holds a Master of Science degree in Periodontics from Northwestern University Dental School, where he was the Coordinator of Implantology for the Universitys Graduate Department of Periodontics. He holds medical licenses in Illinois and Minnesota establishing his private practice in the Chicagoland area in 1988.

I had 2 implants done by Dr. Paul and I have to say it was the best experience I've ever had compared to other dentists. The technology he has and uses on his patients is the best. Dr. Paul is an exceptional dentist. I recommend anyone wanting to get implants to come to Dr. Paul as he has the advanced technology and many years of experience. I highly recommend Start Smiling if anyone is in need of a dental implant! I stayed with my cousin this summer and accompanied her to the office for her procedure. We were both unsure what to expect, but right away the intern named Tanner explained everything. Dr. Paul exceeded our expectations and her implant looks amazing. I could not recommend Start Smiling more!! I came here recently with my grandma for her to get an implant placed and had the best experience. We didn't know much about the process and felt a bit intimidated, but Dr. Paul was SO kind and patient walking us through everything. The entire staff was amazing, I can't say enough good things. I'm usually not one to write reviews but my aunt visited Dr. Paul to get in implant done a couple weeks ago and her experience was amazing! She's always had some anxiety about getting dental work but one of Dr. Paul's assistants Tanner made her feel comfortable right from the start. Life changing! Before surgery my life was very hard navigating what foods I could eat. Different temperature foods would affect that as well. Now after surgery and having my finals food isn't even a thought. I'm free to eat basically whatever I want. That in itself is so freeing. I use to have extreme pain while eating and that's no longer the case. The transformation is absolutely incredible. I love my smile and makes me feel almost no self consciousness & that's the most amazing feeling. Thanks to Dr. Paul and his team for something that truly changed my life for the better!

I have always had a huge fear of dentists and my teeth failing while looking for a dental implant surgeon. I was so impressed with the recent treatment that my brother received at Start Smiling Chicago. I have worked in the dental implant field and have seen great cases to really ugly cases. My brother looked to me for advice on where to go. Dr Paul was fantastic. He followed up with him personally on a weekend! I was so impressed with this. His team was very professional and caring. He fixed my brothers issues and made him a awesome set of temporary teeth. They look better than his previous permanent crowns. I know who will be my new implant dentist for my future needs.
