Dr. Alexander is the dentist at Starshine Dentistry in Corinth and recently took ownership of the practice in December 2018. She graduated in 1999 from Marquette University School of Dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Surgery and also holds a degree in Dental Surgery from Annamalai University. Beyond that, she averages roughly 120 credits per year in continuing education. With more than 18 years of experience in general, preventative, surgical, and cosmetic dentistry, her goal is to provide gracious, comprehensive care with a gentle touch that translates into long-term oral health, beauty, and satisfaction for her patients. In that time, she has developed trusting relationships with some of the leading oral surgeons, TMJ specialists, periodontists, orthodontists, and endodontists in the country helping to create a top-notch dental experience for her patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Alexander and her husband, Steve, enjoy traveling, spending time with their children, designing semiprecious jewelry, and gourmet cooking. She also regularly integrates mission work into her schedule, particularly when it comes to children living in underprivileged socioeconomic conditions.

Steve was born in Minnesota and got to Texas as fast as he could. He grew up in the Arlington, Texas area and went on to graduate with honors from Texas Tech in1989 with a Business and Communications degree. He then started to work in Television as an on air sports broadcaster and account manager. From there, he became a producer of a TV show for travel and education. He then moved into the sports industry for 2 different companies for the next 21 years of his life. They specialized in Sports Editing software and advanced Communication and Audio equipment. He has been doing marketing and some business activities for Starshine since early 2018. Once they purchased the practice, in January 2020, he took over as Practice Manager. He is married to a beautiful Dentist and they have 5 children 2 of which live with us now in Argyle, TX.
Zianya Zi has been in the dental field for 3 years. She went to dental hygiene school in Amarillo Texas. She was raised in a small Texas town called Spearman. She lived there with her parents and three siblings. She recently moved to the Lewisville area, which she has been enjoying a lot. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones and watching movies.

Wish there were more than 5 stars! Starshine Dentistry, Dr. Alexander and staff are wonderful! After working in the dental field for many years and my dentist retiring it took me some time to find another dentist for myself and family. Dr. Alexander has the BEST chairside manners and an expert in her field. I am so happy with my cosmetic dental work. I love that people complement my smile everyday and not ask did I do something different. Dr. Alexander is a very conservative and attention to detail dentist. I highly recommend Starshine Dentistry and I'm so glad I found them!

I love the staff and Dentist here. I have had some bad experiences with my prior Dentist practice, which had left me with a bad taste in my mouth ;) The assistants, hygienist and front staff have been extremely polite thus far. The best part is that, like a trusted mechanic for your car, having an honest Dentist is important too and this is an honest practice that doesn't treat the patient like a head of cattle, or attempt to up sell services and treatments that are not really needed. I will be referring others to them as the opportunity arises.

Honestly this dentist practice has been my favorite so far. The staff here are so helpful and knowledgable. I have gotten a root canal here and multiple fillings, all done with care and precision. I trust Dr.Alexander and her staff. They explain fully what your cost will be for your treatment before they do anything. And they take the time to explain what your insurance means and how it applies. Because of the care I received I no longer feel nervous about bringing things up to my dentist. Especially because the staff here take in consideration your lifestyle and future plans. I can not recommend enough coming to Starshine for dental care.

You won't find a better dentist or better people, very nice and welcoming, I've always hated the dentist but this place has really curbed the trauma from prior experiences , I will not go anywhere else.

When i first went the staff we're patient and nice, but after i had some fillings done my mouth was so sensitive, I couldn't floss in my front tooth because the filling was so sensitive, I have to go to a different dentist now because i had a filling fall out and a hole in my crown, btw i brush daily
