Our Wellington, Florida dentists are committed to providing preventive dental care for the whole family, ages 4 and up. Dr. Christopher Starr has been practicing dentistry in Wellington since 1983, and his son, Dr. Michael Starr, joined him in 2014. Together, our formal dental education has provided us the opportunity to specialize in preventive and restorative dentistry, performing the latestadvanced dental proceduresthat enhance your dental health and improve the appearance of your smile.
Dr. Michael Starrwas born and raised in Wellington, Florida. Following in his fathers footsteps, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2010 with his bachelors degree, with a focus in science pre-professional studies.
After suffering through his first true winters, Dr. Starr decided it was time to return to Florida. In 2014, he graduated in the top 10% of his class from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and soon joined his fathers practice.
Dr. Starr is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, and Central Palm Beach County Dental Association. He serves as the Chairman of the Florida Dental Association Sub-Council on the New Dentist, which helps new dentists in their transition from student to professional. Dr. Starr's practice focus is cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Christopher Starrhas over 40 years of dental experience. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1970 and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1974. After serving as a dentist in the United States Navy, Dr. Starr went on to teach as an assistant professor of dentistry in New York at SUNY Buffalo and Columbia University, and in Florida at the University of Florida, Gainesville. He opened his dental practice in Wellington, Florida in 1983.
Dr. Starr is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, and Central Palm Beach County Dental Association, for which he once served as president.He currently serves as an Examiner/Consultant for theState of Florida Dental and Dental Hygiene Licensure Examinations as well as a member of the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners. His practice focus is on preventive and restorative dentistry.

Very friendly, organized, and helpful office staff! Iris (tech) was very sweet, explaining all of the procedures, cleaning was fantastic! Dr. Starr has a positive, upbeat demeanor. Also able to communicate clearly concerns and treatment plans. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! *****

My front tooth was loose and I was able to come in right away. They had me in a chair in less than 5 min upon my arrival. I was worried because my tooth was fake with a metal rod put in. The dentist spoke through every step and made me feel very comfortable. I had my tooth fixed in less than 30 min. I am a newer patient and I am so pleased my family choose this dentistry to do business with. Michael Martin

I visited Dr. Starr's office for my 6 month checkup last week. I loved my hygenist, Jenny, but she moved home to Texas. She is missed but her replacement, Taylor, is so sweet. Taylor did a wonderful job, no pain! I have a childhood fear of dentists but everyone in Starr's office is friendly, professional & sensitive to patient needs. I highly recommend this office.
