Completing her pre-dental studies at San Diego State University, Dr. Starnes attended dental school at University of the Pacific. She then followed in her father's footsteps with a residency in orthodontics at St. Louis University. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.

Dr. Starnes balanced the art and science of Orthodontia with our daughter's case, which was a challenging scenario brought to Dr. Starnes from another practice. Dr. Starnes solved the challenge and our daughter was elated - so were we - and her teeth & smile look beautiful. Our son also benefited from Dr. Starnes for his first round of braces - we look forward to the results from his second round. We would recommend Dr. Starnes and her team to anyone looking for Orthodontics. Thank you Team Starnes!

Dr. Starnes and her team were fantastic. I am 58 years old and this was my first experience with orthodontia. The staff was kind, fun, and professional. My teeth look fantastic. I will miss seeing them for my regular check-ins.

Dr. Heidi and her staff are the best. Very flexible and always "on call". our kids absolutely love going to the ortho...that i dont' think is typical and it's a direct result of the great team at Starnes.

My kids and I love Dr. Heidi! She is so sweet and really cares about our family inside and outside of her office. Her staff is very friendly and always greet us with welcoming smiles. She is truly the best orthodontist out there in Newport! Very affordable and would recommend her to anyone.
