Doctor Starnes has been practicing orthodontics since he completed his residency at St. Louis University. He is a past president of the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation and past president of the Orange County Dental Society.
Dr. Starnes has contributed as a part time orthodontic faculty member at UCLA and is published in numerous orthodontic journals. Being concerned and involved in his profession has prompted lecturing to many universities, organizations, and study clubs. As orthodontic technology has developed, Doctor Starnes used these advancements to promote the highest standard of care in the community. He was a leader in establishing adult orthodontic treatment in the 1970s and was a pioneer in perfecting treatment with braces behind the teeth in the 1980s. In the 1990s he developed treatment protocol for orthopedic corrections in young patients prior to the eruption of all permanent teeth.
Dr. Starnes is a life-time member of the American Association of Orthodontics. He received his dental and orthodontic degrees from St. Louis University. He is board certified and has treated more than 10,000 patients in his private practice. Teaching and lecturing at major universities has led to publishing professional scientific articles. Currently when not practicing he spends time on his ranch and with his wife, nine children, and grandchildren.

One of my brackets broke 30 minutes after I left and they were uneven and they made it worse this has been the worst service ever

Starnes group is so accommodating to requests! The whole experience with our daughter's braces has been excellent. Highly recommend and very convenient for kids in Callisburg schools.
