Dr. Ariel Julian Rodriguez was born in Havana, Cuba in 1976. His family immigrated to the United States in 1980 and he was raised in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Brown University in 1998 with honors in Human Biology, with a theme in Race and Gender. In 2002, he graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Over the last ten years, he has worked in both public health and private practice. Hes inspired by the possibility of giving back to the world, or at least, to the communities that are nearest. At the same time, hes inspired by creating a workplace that gives back to people in unique and unexpected ways.
Drawn to the glamour and style of southern California, he realized that something about Los Angeles spoke to him and said: heres the place to dream big. So he started designing a practice that is an offering and homage to the alliance of art, nature, and material science that is dentistry. His inspiration is born of a love for beautiful and pragmatic things. Heroes of his, Ray and Charles Eames, designed and inspired an era in which beauty could be found in technology. Much the way that Charles and Ray Eames created chairs that defined the art of sitting, Dr. Rodriguez strives to provide something that informs the art of smiling.
He believes that a smile should be more than a facial expression formed by flexing the muscles near the end of the mouth. Its an opportunity to express delight in living. Its the physical manifestation of happiness, an invitation to conversation or a kiss, a communication of camaraderie. And it can be a possibility of much more. Smiles should be unique and easy.

What I love about Aida is her intentionality. Like a girl scout, she is the definition of preparedness and shes incredibly sweet. For patients, this results in the smoothest possible dental experience.
I love Steffanys determination and integrity. She is a relentless advocate for every patient and she brings a lightness of being to the day. This means she might be overheard arguing with insurance companies on your behalf and occasionally singing along to Pandora.

This doctor was amazing! I had a terrible toothache, the doctor fit me in right away, figured out exactly how to help me, got me the antibiotics I needed, and gave me direct contact info for any necessary follow up. I felt so cared for and didn't have to figure out anything on my own. Being older, I really appreciated that. Thank you!!

Staff very friendly and Dr. Rodrigez is Always able to accommodate any emergency. He never pushes a procedure that is not necessary. I have been going to him for many many years and highly recommend him.

Okay seriously... I love Starland Dentistry and dr. Rodriguez so much. I can't say enough good things about this team and the overall feeling of this place from the design of their office to the care and kindness they have provided me over the years. I never thought I could find a place as good or better than the family dentistry I had growing up but they exceed every expectation. Highly recommend.

Dr. Rodriguez became my dentist recently . I was hesitant about trying a new dentist and a new office but all my apprehensions disappeared the moment I enter the office and met Dr Rodriguez. The staff and Dr. are relaxed, efficient and knowledgeable. Only recently I learned that a healthy mouth is connected to a healthy heart. If you have issues with your teeth or gums take care of them.

Hands down best dentist I've had in 39 years! Dr. Rodriguez (Ariel) is so Awesome!... as well as knowledgeable, efficient, kind, accommodating and always great conversation. I have done general dentistry, fillings, and Invisaligns and have only 100% positive things to say. :) Absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone! :)

Have been with Dr. Rodriquez from the beginning of his practice here. Have had great care. His staff is as caring and considerate as well. Dr. Rodriquez is very knowledgable. I have recommended him to people who hate going to the dentist. Because, he's so careful to make sure you're as comfortable as possible.

I cannot speak highly enough of Starland Dentistry. I have been a patient of Dr. Roeriguez for years, and hands down, he is the best dentist I have ever had! I suffer from extreme dental anxiety, and Dr. Rodriguez is kind-hearted, compassionate, and puts his patient's comfort as his top priority. His office has a hip 70's vibe, and the surround sound speakers are always tuned into a great playlist. Even with a fully booked schedule, Dr. Rodrigeaz was able to squeeze me in for a dental emergency and my mouth is now forever grateful for it. I strongly recommend you book your next appointment here!

I highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez! His an excellent dentist very calm, he listens to you and answers all your questions. He does an excellent job and very professional! Also his staff are very nice starting from front desk to hygienist and the assistant. I love going to Starland Dentistry.

Dr. Rodriguez is great! He made me feel very comfortable to be at the dentist-- he's very kind, knowledgeable, informative, and not at all pushy. He didn't tell me to get any unnecessary treatments or procedures and he was very non-judgemental which I really appreciate in a dentist. The hygenist, Andrea, was so gentle and nice! I'm actually looking forward to going back, which I can safely say I've never said about a dentist before. Highly recommend!

I used to be a guy that detested going for dental appointments, but Dr. Rodriguez and his staff make it a pleasure. Always friendly, very professional, a very skilled doctor. He explains what he's doing so well to his assistants that you come away feeling smarter too. They use ultra modern technology, and keep you involved and interested in your treatment. The hygienists are super thorough and so gentle, it makes a cleaning visit something to look forward to. I highly recommend this practice to anyone, you won't be disappointed.
